Project was started before expected. The quality and workmanship was excellent. I am extremely pleased with the overall project as well as everyone I worked with. Andrew was my salesperson who came out in a timely manner. He spent an adequate amount of time and was professional. Mike was the project manager and he communicated with me along the way. John worked mostly alone building the deck and working tirelessly every day until complete. The deck was left dirty initially and I was most impressed that Mike made sure he had someone out to clean it up. It was initially rinsed off which did not removed the dirt. He then had someone come out specifically to clean it. It still was dirty but at that point I figured I would have to clean it myself. Mike assured me he would take care of it. I can’t believe it’s been over four years since I began working the Fence & Deck Connection (FDC) to start improving the look and quality of my outdoor property. In 2017 I had the need to replace an old wooden fence on 3 sides of my property, and that’s when I met Andrew V. Andrew was thorough in his estimating approach and came back to our house a few times to answer questions and to follow-up on our progress. That first job was a huge success; FDC completed the job on budget and ahead of schedule, and the quality of workmanship exceeded our expectations. We subsequently recommended them to friends and family, and they went on to complete 2 large fence projects for my son and for my brother. Everyone we dealt with at FDC, from the installers to the project managers, the quality control team, and the administrative office personnel, was friendly, courteous, and professional.
In March of 2021 we completed another small fence project with FDC, and they continued to provide quality work that was done within budget and ahead of schedule. It was reassuring to deal with familiar names and faces, and to know that FDC does not sub-contract their work to others. They stand behind their products, and are always professional to deal with. Now I am excited about our newest project to replace a wooded deck that is greater than 20 years old, and to expand it to include a 3-Season room for us to enjoy. From start to finish, Fence & Deck Connection had impeccable service and support with our new complete deck rebuild this month (Nov 2020). From the initial contact made by Andrew Vidulich, to the constant contact (though not overly done) from the PM team (TJ Farley) and other staff at FDC through the nearly 3 month process start to finish, stellar service and support. The HOA my wife and I had to work through caused some significant delays, however that did not deter FDC from making the best of the time given and give/requested updates ~2x a week or so and were more than helpful when we were waiting to get the Architectural Review Committee in the HOA to sign our packet. The team started on a Monday morning (2 Nov) around 8:30am, and a mass majority of the old deck (168sqft, 14x12) was torn down and cleaned up in less than 4 hours, leaving around 3:30-4:30pm that day. Day 2 of work was put on hold around noon due to high winds (we’re on an end unit), which we fully agreed upon and meant a lot to my wife and I that they were not going to make their team work in 20-30mph winds at upwards of 9’ up to build the deck. The team came back the 4th (Wednesday), and got the remaining 40-45% of the deck built, with only maybe 2 hours the final day (Thursday 5 Nov) to finish some odds and ends and be ahead of schedule in the end (supposed to end COB Thursday 5 Nov). Our next venture is likely a fence, which we’ll definitely go through FDC for this and other future projects; even when we move to Carroll Co in the next 18-24 months. Don’t sleep on these guys, reasonable prices and quality work.

The deck is well under way and I couldn't be more please with Jose and his crew. I have talked to Jose virtually every day he has been here he never seems to mind my questions or comments. He runs a pretty tight ship but he also teaches his crew why he does the things he does. He told me that he has trained many guys in the past to be able to take on a project as the crew leader. The deck boards are being installed today. Our hot tub will arrive tomorrow and .... knowing Jose these past 2 weeks, I think he will have the upper deck complete before Noon tomorrow. My fence project was to remove my 36 year old chain link fence, and replace with a new "wood look" vinyl fence. Fence and Deck came recommended from close friends of mine, and I was impressed by their work. Since the fencing material I was looking for was unique (as most privacy fences are white or beige/tan) I had three companies provide estimates, explain their materials, and their process. Out of those three companies, Fence and Deck not only gave the best offer but also a better quality of materials. Andrew from Fence and Deck was great to work with on finding the right vinyl color choice, and keeping me informed during the whole process. The green teak is fabulous, and glad I went with my gut and chose it. If I had any questions he was able to answer them the same day. Steve was the foreman of the project, and once I met with him the project took off from there. Within a 5-6 week time frame I had a brand new fence. During that time the materials were ordered, the measurements were rechecked, and the fence removal and new build took place. Steve even came out a week later to make sure everything was correct, and how I wanted. The experience from beginning to end was fantastic, and now I have a great fence to show for it.!

I am very happy with my fence so far! Communication throughout the process was great. Everyone that worked on the job was very professional and courteous, and the fence looks beautiful! I love the look and the scent of the cedar materials. The job was completed in two days, which was amazing, and the workers left the job site clean and neat, from what I have seen. I was able to contact my neighbor on the left and she agreed to allow the workers to go into her yard to work on the fence through the chain link, so I hope that helped a little. And we ended up cutting the tree limb on the right side so a notch was not required after all. I have not been able to walk out and inspect the entire fence line because of my ankle, but maybe I can get out there over the weekend if I have someone here with me. My entire experience with Fence and Deck Connection from the sales meeting and negotiations with Andrew, the pre-construction meeting with Francisco, the scheduling of the work, to the demo and fence replacement was exceptional. Working with the entire staff and crew was very easy, which is an uncommon occurrence in today's business world. We was truly impressed with the crew who completed the demo and installation in one day! On the first day of what we were told would be a 2 day job, the materials were delivered at 7 AM and the crew arrived promptly at 8 and immediately began the demo. When my wife and I left for work at 9 AM, we figured we would have a partial fence installed. Imagine our surprise when we returned home around 5:30 PM and found the crew just leaving. The crew foreman (I do not remember his name) stayed and told us the job was done and proceed to show us our new fence. He explained that he called an an extra crew so that they could complete the job because he did not like the idea of us not having a fence up because of our dog needing to go out, the possibility of deer coming into our yard from the woods, the fact that we have a pool, and an approaching winter storm. We were impressed that he took his job seriously and did what needed to be done to ensure we did not have to go without a fence. Needless to say we are very happy that we hired the Fence and Deck Connection and will gladly tell our friends about the exceptional service we received.

The crew as well, decking team and fencing team, were all nice and proved to be professionals. Prior to deciding on Fence and Deck Connection, I attempted to get two other quotes. One company responded by email and never bothered to schedule a time to come out. The other company came out but only wanted to know how much I wanted to pay versus telling me how much it would cost for what I wanted. Unlike you, they did not come with samples nor did they leave any brochures. The installation crew did an excellent job, under less-than-ideal winter weather conditions, and they really went the extra mile, well beyond the deck work: replacing a piece of rotted wood they found behind the siding, adding some insulation to a water pipe that a previous owner had installed too close to the exterior without any, adding a fitting to my old odd exterior water faucet to make it easier to attach a hose, replacing and helping to repair some drop ceiling tiles. Post-installation, they left the yard and patio perfectly cleaned up. The deck looks great, I am looking forward to enjoying it this spring.

I thought that the entire experience with Fence and Deck Connection exceeded my expectations. Our new privacy fence looks great and we have gotten compliments from our neighbors. We needed a barrier between us and one other neighbor and that is exactly what we got.

Our experience from start to finish was top notch service. From our initial meeting with the sales rep, Andrew, to the laying of the final board with our construction crew, we were thoroughly impressed with the professionalism of everyone at Fence and Deck Connection. We had no problems going through the initial estimate process, but the enjoyable part was going to their Annapolis showroom and actually seeing the products available. Another fun aspect was creating our "3D model" at the showroom and getting a feel of how the project would come together. They stayed true to the estimated time frame for completion which was great with trying to juggle day to day life.
We had a new construction home and the final asphalt pavement was happening the same time the deck was being scheduled to be completed. We were trying to coordinate so heavy delivery trucks were not going to deliver materials on the new driveway, but were informed that it is company standard to deliver on the street/shoulder and have the crew hand carry materials to the site. We were very impressed by this and it just made us feel even more reassured about who we picked. We plan on doing a fence in the next couple of months and would not go with any other company besides Fence and Deck Connection. We will definitely refer this company to our friends and family for any services they would need.

We had our deck replaced and a new fence installed around our property from Fence & Deck Connection, and we couldn't be happier with the results or the process. The sales consultant (Andrew) met us at our home and took the time to listen to what our end goals were from the two projects. He then took the time to measure everything out and go over all the options for each project individually.
There was no pressure to select more expensive materials and he really made sure that we'd be happy with the look and feel of each component. There were absolutely times where more expensive options could have been recommended and we probably wouldn't have realized, but the real goal was to make sure we were 100% satisfied.
The installation process for both projects went very smoothly. The workers were professional, punctual, and worked very efficiently. They made sure to minimize any inconveniences to us - there were certainly times where we could have forgotten they were even there. About a week after each installation, they sent out a representative to inspect the work and make sure we were happy with the product. For the few small problems that we found, they were very responsive to correct them immediately. At each step, people went above and beyond our expectations to give us a fantastic deck and fence.

From the sales representative to the work crew everyone was extremely professional, courteous, and polite through out the entire process. The Fence and Deck Connection did an exceptional job with giving our house the dream fence that it always needed. I first heard of this company through a family member who also had a fence installed a few years back. After contacting the company, Andrew came to our house a few days later to measure our property. After measuring the property, he sat down and gave me a great visual presentation of not only the history of the company, but also the variety of fences (styles, colors, etc.) that the company had to offer.
