Sorry it has taken me so long but I just wanted to send a note letting your team know how happy we are with our new covered porch that Fence and Deck Connection installed this summer. From start to finish, the experience was painless. And the installation team was the best. How they did their job in the heat of the summer is beyond me. And what a great job they did. We have had many compliments on the workmanship and by some pretty tough critics. We feel like we are now in a new house. Thanks Brian for working with us to get the best products to fit our needs and for being so responsive. And thanks to Carl for being there every step of the way. You guys are an asset to your company. We will be calling when we are ready to redo the deck.

Tracy just wanted to drop a line and say Thank You. The job you did on the Deck was wonderful we were very impressed with the way it turned out it surpassed what we thought it would look like.
Fence and Deck connections whole team from you, Production Manager ( Carl) to the installer (Jose) to service all of you go above and beyond to make the customer happy and the finished project is always perfect. So again Thank you, all of you for another job well done.

Fence and Deck Connection truly did exceed my expectations. From the very beginning when I first contacted your office and was put in touch with you - to the final beautiful and well-crafted Trex deck - I had nothing but an outstanding experience with your company. I appreciated the time you took with me at the outset of the project to explain in detail the differences between a regular wood deck, and one constructed with Trex. I was also very happy with the many choices of colors and textures of Trex open to me.
Once the project was underway, I was very appreciative of the communication and updates I received from Carl Schmidt and T.J. Farley. They always let me know if there was a possibility of a slight delay due to all of the rain we'd been getting, or the "challenges" being posed by a no-show of a PG County inspector. I was always kept in the loop.
Last but certainly not least, Jose (sorry - I can't remember his last name) and his crew did outstanding work. They were all a pleasure to deal with. Not only did they build a beautiful deck, but they left my yard very clean, and with grass planted where the heavy equipment had made some impressions.
My friends and family and I are so impressed with the final results. My sister who lives in Virginia wants to have a similar deck built - but was sorry to hear that Fence and Deck Connection doesn't do work in Virginia. (At least I don't think so?) Needless to say, I will be referring my friends and family from Maryland to Fence and Deck Connection with my highest recommendation.

I am writing to tell you how pleased we are with our recent deck project. The deck is beautiful and the crew that worked on the project were very professional. There was one person that we worked with that went over and above to make sure that we were happy with the end result. Carl Schmidt did an excellent job every step of the way. He communicated with us to let us know what was happening so we never had to wonder where our deck project stood. When we had a small issue with the yard, Carl was on it. He moved quickly to work with us to resolve the issue. We are very pleased with the end result! His commitment and dedication to the satisfaction of the customer is evident.

Dear Carl,
Our deck project is completed and is perfect. It is beautiful, rock solid and looks like it has always been there. The entire process was flawless from beginning to end with sound advice from Tracy, good communication from you and T.J. and skillful craftsmanship from the construction team. We are grateful for everyone who assisted.
We would particularly like to thank Dave Dean for his procurement of siding that was needed to replace pieces damaged during the demolition of the old deck where the deck had been bolted into the siding. I simply asked him what we could do about it and where to find it and the next day when I looked out the siding had been replaced with the exact material. This type of problem solving, attention to overall detail and genuine interest in the customer's needs and satisfaction are traits you always hope to find, but seldom do.
Paul and I were very impressed with our construction team; Jose, Rigo and Richard. All the best laid plans are nothing if not carried out properly. Their skill and craftsmanship are impeccable. They are hardworking, conscientious and courteous. They thoroughly cleaned up every day and secured our yard before leaving. They were particularly careful during demolition not to compromise our neighbors' yards and property with debris. Our deck is beautiful because of their careful, skillful work.
I think one thing that sets you apart from other companies is that each person we talked to beginning with Tracy Ours is a good listener. All of you listened to us, what we wanted, our intentions, and our concerns. We would be happy to recommend Fence and Deck Connection to anyone asking us for a recommendation. Hello Carl & Tracy:
I've missed our nearly daily e-mails (0│+), but I'm sure you've had plenty of other customers keeping you very busy.
My wife and I cannot thank you both, and the entire team at Fence & Deck Connection, for the incredibly nice room you built onto our home. We have thoroughly enjoyed it and have received so many compliments on the work. We have recommended FDC to several folks, but I guess as with most large investments - it may be a while before you hear from them.
We also want to thank Tracy for doing an OUTSTANDING job at what he does. That is to 'listen' to what the customers believe they want, offer great suggestions based on years of experience, and then establish a plan. Clearly what we thought we wanted in the beginning, was not what we really wanted in the end. And Tracy, utilizing his valuable skills, was able to discern what we really needed and wanted. In the end, after listening to Tracy's advice, we have exactly what we 'really' wanted. It's a beautiful and very functional addition to the home.
But it doesn't end there, because it was Carl who took the vision of Tracy and put it to paper. And, then, eventually into a beautiful reality. I don't think there would be any question that CARL SCHMIDT is the genius behind the construction part of every project. We sincerely appreciate Carl's patience and attention to detail. Not to mention his management skills with each phase of the construction.
Subsequent to both of you last visiting the house, a patio has been built under the addition and we had major work completed in the back yard. This work included building a retention wall, importing 400 tons of soil and some landscaping. Hopefully in another couple of months we'll some beautiful green grass on gentle slopes instead of steep cliffs. 0│+
