The original deck, measuring approximately 314 square feet, had seen better days. A mix of aging wood and outdated materials meant it was time for a fresh start. Our team carefully removed and hauled away the existing structure, including miscellaneous features like brick columns, to clear the way for a sleek new design. In its place, we installed 278 sq. ft. of TimberTech Edge Prime+ decking in the rich Coconut Husk color, complete with matching framing. This composite material offers durability, low maintenance, and the warm look of natural wood — ideal for humid Annapolis summers and coastal weather conditions.
54′ of black Alta aluminum railing safely encloses the space without compromising the view. Matching Coconut Husk seam board, feature board, and fascia wrap gives the deck a clean, polished look. Like the previous deck, we installed a 6′ wide box step for added functionality and style. One set of steps lead down to the concrete patio adjacent to the pool, and 52′ of 1′ white vinyl lattice adds subtle privacy and a finished look beneath the deck.
