Our clients came to us with an aging wood deck that had served its purpose but was ready for retirement. They were looking for something that could stand up to the elements while still maintaining a warm, traditional look without all the maintenance. With the help of Project Consultant Joel Lewis, these wonderful homeowners have a beautiful new deck that complete transforms their home’s exterior and backyard!

Before we could bring this new vision to life, our crew removed approximately 335 sq. ft. of existing decking and stairs. All debris was hauled away and the space was prepped with care to ensure a clean slate for the new installation. For the new deck, the homeowners the Mahogany hue from the Vintage Collection, which features rich, elegant tones that mimic the look of exotic hardwoods without the upkeep. Mahogany is a rich, russet tone to replicate the lush hues of tropical mahogany wood. is These capped polymer boards resist fading, staining, and moisture — perfect for Maryland’s four-season climate. For safety and aesthetics, we installed modern, low-maintenance black Alta-style aluminum railings. The finishing touch? A top cap rail in matching Mahogany for a custom, clean finish.
To match the deck boards and keep the structure looking polished from every angle, we wrapped the perimeter in durable composite fascia. Installed for both visual appeal and function, a matching feature board outlines the perimeter of the deck and stairs, providing a clean, picture-framed finish. Two sets of steps with latched gates finish the new look!
