We installed 500 sqft Trex Transcend decking in “Island Mist,” a calming, silver-toned option that mimics the weathered look of driftwood. The white vinyl deck railings are accompanied by round black aluminum balusters and textured fascia wrap around the deck’s perimeter.

15 steps lead up to this stunning deck, with riser lights installed on every other step — a subtle accessory for showcasing the deck’s features and for easier navigation at night. To offer under-deck privacy, white lattice was attached to a single side.
To truly make this new space an outdoor living room, we added a 12×12 screen enclosure in white PVC with open-style wood framed ceilings. The screened porch deck addition is perfect for enjoying the outdoors when it’s raining, or escaping the unforgiving sun during the dog days of summer. Our clients also installed a ceiling fan to accompany the passing breeze on warmer days. When family barbecues carry on into the evenings, our clients can also avoid bugs and insects by socializing comfortably from inside their screened-in space.
