Composite decking, and Trex in particular, is far more waterproof and will last for years without rotting, as wood is prone to do. The existing supports, beam, frame and lattice remained as is. We then removed and hauled away the existing decking, railings, steps, and landing before replacing the space with 184 sq. ft. of Trex Enhance decking in Toasted Sand. This hue a tawny seashell brown with subtle dark-brown splashes, featuring a low-maintenance, wood-like grain pattern. It&#8217;s a beautiful selection that accents the home nicely! <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>White vinyl Washington-style railings with black round aluminum balusters accent the beautiful decking, and white vinyl textured fascia wraps the space for a more finished look. We also installed twelve new 4&#8242; wide steps from the ground to the landing, and then to the main deck.
