Wood decks are classic and charming, but they do require yearly maintenance (cleaning, sanding, staining) to keep it looking in tip-top shape. Without the time and effort, they can become unsightly as they age, warp, and rot. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Homeowners in Eldersburg, Maryland contacted Fence &amp; Deck Connection to upgrade their aging wooden deck to a durable, long-lasting composite outdoor space! The new structure supports the installation of 247 sq. ft. of Dark Roast TimberTech decking using hidden fasteners for a clean, polished look. Dark Roast is a beautiful hue in the Reserve Collection. Inspired by reclaimed wood, these boards feature a rough wire-brushed, low-gloss finish that highlights the classic cathedral wood grain pattern. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>White vinyl railing with black round balusters enclose the new space and 8&#8242; of white privacy fencing topped with lattice was placed on the neighbor&#8217;s side. A matching gate was placed at the top of the landing for extra safety and security. Additionally, homeowners chose to add a light package which included two white corona riser lights  on every other riser and white Venus post cap lights.
