Project Consultant Steve Nehus worked with our customers in Nottingham to transform their outdated, rotting wooden deck into a larger, modern, composite deck that requires far less maintenance and upkeep ! Once they removed the existing wooden deck and steps, our installation crew was able to quickly construct a new 20&#8242; x 12&#8242; deck using high quality pressure treated wood. We then installed TimberTech Dark Roast decking, secured using hidden fasteners for a clean, polished look. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dark Roast is found in in TimberTech&#8217;s Reserve Collection. Inspired by reclaimed wood, the heavy wire-brushed, low-gloss finish showcases the classic cathedral wood grain pattern on these resilient boards. The boards are fade resistant and designed to retain color, extremely resistant to moisture intrusion, and have a strong resistance to mold and staining, unlike traditional wood decking. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>While many homeowners opt for white vinyl railing, this beautiful deck was designed with tan Washington-style railing with black aluminum square balusters. The tan color is a great accent to the darker deck boards, and matches nicely with the home&#8217;s exterior. Tan vinyl fascia wraps with deck with mitered corners and capped with Cortex plugs. 5 steps make up the beautiful cascading deck stairs \u2014 a lovely focal point that leads up to the sliding glass doors. Lastly, tan vinyl lattice skirts the under deck, with one access gate, providing privacy for under deck storage. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><strong>After:
