Homeowners in Stevensville, Maryland reached out to Fence & Deck Connection for help designing their blank canvas of a backyard. With the help of Project Consultant Tracy Ours who services Maryland’s Eastern Shore, and our amazingly talented installation crew, our clients now have a timeless TimberTech composite deck with privacy and lighting that will last for decades to come!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We first installed a new 14′ x 29′ pressure treated wood frame. The expertly crafted framework supports TimberTech Edge Prime+ decking in the Dark Cocoa hue with a matching feature and seam boards. As one of our stock boards, TimberTech Edge Prime+ Dark Cocoa offers the simple, traditional wood look you love without the rigorous maintenance of wood. Featuring subtle color blending and a rift-and quarter-sawn straight grain pattern, the lighter weight scalloped profile premium polymer capped composite boards deliver real wood aesthetics you\u2019ll never have to sand, stain, or seal. White vinyl Washington-style railings with round black aluminum balusters enclose the new space. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On one side of the deck, we installed a white vinyl privacy panel \u2014 14 feet of a 6′ tall panel topped with a 1′ black aluminum closed spindle top. In communities where homes are close together, outdoor privacy is a coveted commodity, and privacy panels are a great addition for daytime entertaining or nighttime gatherings! Instead of leaving the under deck open or enclosed with traditional lattice panelling, our customer’s chose to install white vinyl skirting around the deck’s perimeter for a more modern look. The paneling also includes one access gate for under deck storage. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Along with one set of 8′ wide stairs with a “picture framed” detail, we also completed this beautiful outdoor space with an illuminating lighting package \u2014 12 Saturn Anello post cap lights and 6 Corona riser lights. This ensures the deck can be used safely at night and will be great for gatherings well past sunset!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
