Our first Makeover Monday of 2025 comes from Edgewater, Maryland. Like many of our customers, these Anne Arundel County homeowners purchased a newly constructed home with a spacious backyard, but with an incomplete outdoor space designated for entertaining and relaxing. Opting for maintenance-friendly materials that not only look great, but last for decades, Project Consultant Brian Hannon helped our customers design a beautiful new Trex to complement their new home!<\/p>\n

We first installed a 30\u2032 x 15\u2032 pressure-treated wood frame, ensuring it was prepped for a future screened in porch addition. The new deck was adorned with Trex Enhance decking in the Toasted Sand hue. Toasted Sand is a tawny seashell brown with subtle dark-brown splashes. New white vinyl railings with round, black aluminum balusters enclose the space and complete this fresh, modern look. White vinyl lattice skirts the deck\u2019s lower half, along with one under-deck storage\/access gate. A 5\u2032 wide gate on the deck\u2019s left side will provide safe and secure access to a future hot tub.<\/p>\n
