Instead of just one flat surface, you get multiple levels that can each serve a different purpose, such as having a spot for grilling on one level, a lounge area on another, and maybe even a hot tub tucked away on a lower tier. They also work really well on sloped yards, turning difficult terrain into something beautiful and practical. Plus, the layered look with varying heights adds depth and character to your backyard, making it feel more like an extension of your home than just a deck.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"z-0 flex min-h-[46px] justify-start\">Project Consultant Kevin Bullion worked with our customers in Ellicott City to rebuild their worn and rotting multi-level wood deck. The new space required 342 sq. ft. of TimberTech Edge Prime+ decking in Sea Salt Gray: a 12&#8242; x 16&#8242; upper deck, 10 x 13&#8242; lower deck, and a 4&#8242; x 5&#8242; landing. Two sets of 4&#8242; wide steps lead from the ground to the lower deck, and the lower deck to the upper deck. White Washington-style railing with black aluminum balusters encloses the multi-level spaces and complements the gray decking nicely. Horizontal Carolina skirting was placed between the upper and lower decks. This stylish feature is a modern take on traditional lattice and provides a modern, clean backdrop to the continuing space. White vinyl textured fascia wrapping the deck&#8217;s entire perimeter is the finishing touch to this beautiful project.<\/p>\n<p><strong>After: <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><img loading=\"lazy\"
