We’re thrilled to announce that Fence & Deck Connection will be hosting the 19th Annual Holiday Drive! This beloved community tradition brings holiday magic to families while supporting a meaningful cause. This year’s theme is Operation Elf Adventure – a whimsical, hands-on experience designed to spark imagination and festive cheer for kids of all ages.
What to Expect: Operation Elf Adventure
At Operation Elf Adventure, children will embark on a magical journey where they arrive as themselves but leave as official elves ready to take on the North Pole’s most exciting challenges.
Elf Transformation: Upon arrival, each participant will choose an elf name and receive a festive elf hat and adventure pass to complete their transformation.
Elf Training Camp: Kids will navigate a series of fun and interactive activity stations throughout our enchanting Elf Village. Activities include ice skating, reindeer care, magical obstacle challenges, and more.
Holiday Memories: By the end of the adventure, participants will have mastered the art of being an elf while creating unforgettable memories filled with holiday cheer.
This immersive experience is perfect for children of all ages, offering hands-on fun, creativity, and festive excitement.

The 19th Annual Holiday Drive directly supports The Blue Ribbon Project, an organization dedicated to helping vulnerable children and young adults who have experienced abuse, neglect, or trauma.
Through resources, advocacy, and empowering programs, The Blue Ribbon Project helps children build resilience, self-sufficiency, and brighter futures. Fence & Deck Connection is proud to partner with them to make this holiday season brighter for local families in need.

Join Us at Our 18th Annual Holiday Drive: Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree

As we enter the season of giving, we are excited to announce our 18th Annual Holiday Drive: Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree, taking place on December 7th, 4-7pm at our Millersville location: 8057 Veterans Hwy, Millersville, MD 21108. This joyous holiday event also sponsored by our industry partners, Trex, Yellawood, Culpeper, and Snavely Forest Products, will directly benefit the Blue Ribbon Project. This Annapolis-based organization offers several programs directly serving children who are the victims of child abuse and neglect. as well as adult survivors of child abuse. Admission to our Holiday Drive is completely free, although we will be collecting new children’s toys and clothing items (new with tags) at the entrance. Currently, the Blue Ribbon Project’s greatest needs are infant boy’s clothing, pants with elastic bands and no fleece pajamas for toddlers and kids to adult sizes, sippy cups, and bottles. Donations are highly recommended and will directly support local children in need during the holiday season.
This beloved community event is the best way to kick off the first weekend of December and get in the holiday spirit! All attendees will be able to receive a FREE photo with Santa, enjoy free sweet treats and hot cocoa from T & J Waffles, and take a ride in our very own Polar Express. Guests will also enjoy our outdoor rock n’ roll roller rink, moon bounce, disco car ride, face painting, crafts, and more! Bring your dancing shoes and jingle bells to sing along to holiday classics with a rock n’ roll twist and watch performances by the Archbishop Spalding High School Dance Team!
Fence & Deck Connection has been proud to closely partner with The Blue Ribbon Project for more than a decade. Both the Annapolis and Millersville locations are a drop-off location for the organization’s “Backpacks of Love” program, targeted towards children of all ages entering the foster care system. Donated backpacks include such things as a toothbrush, toothpaste, hairbrush, children’s soap/body wash, children’s shampoo, changes of clothing for the child’s age, personal clothing (underwear, socks, pajamas), and age-appropriate books and toys.
