Makeover Monday: Woodland Brown Deck in Annapolis, Maryland

Many of our Maryland customers come to us wanting to spruce up their outdoor space using the same footprint of their existing deck. Christopher Homes worked with our residential clients in Annapolis, Maryland to design this stunning new composite deck that brightens up, and breathes new life into the backyard.

We installed 544 square feet of Trex Select decking in Woodland Brown, splitting the space into an upper and lower deck with a slight drop down. Woodland Brown is an umber hue with an easy-to-maintain, wood-like grain pattern, making it a great choice for a timeless look. Trex decking is the perfect pairing of price and minimal maintenance, made of affordable high-performance composite that won’t rot, warp or splinter.

We paired the decking with white vinyl Lincoln-style railing and black aluminum balusters topped with a Woodland Brown rail cap. White vinyl fascia wraps the front drop beams and support posts. To turn the new space into a nighttime escape, we also installed white Saturn post cap lights on each post. This large deck is beautifully illuminated after the sun goes down! Two sets of stairs create access points to the larger upper deck and the smaller lower deck.
