Connection Cares - We Give Back to Community
One of the cornerstone principles of our success is giving back to the communities we serve. From the start of our business until today, tomorrow, and beyond, we understand the value of giving back and supporting local charities/causes. The satisfaction of giving back to the community that has supported our business is a tremendous feeling. Additionally, we hold our own Annual Holiday Drive to generate awareness on a given charity chosen to be the recipient that year. We empower our employees to help organize and run this event which has grown to become a community icon event every year. We truly do care here at Fence & Deck Connection and giving back will always be fundamental to our success!

Warrior Events
Fence & Deck Connection supports Warrior Events by sponsoring their float in the Annapolis St Patrick’s Parade every year. Warrior Event’s mission is to provide opportunities for interaction, enjoyment, and camaraderie for our wounded veterans, and to raise awareness and appreciation among the public, as well as giving back to those veterans that served our country.
The Blue Ribbon Project
Fence & Deck Connection supports The Blue Ribbon Project’s “Backpacks of Love” campaign at its Annual Holiday Drive event on the first Saturday in December each year. The annual event rallies the community to come and show their support for a worthy cause chosen by the company that given year. The Blue Ribbon Project assists children who are victims of child abuse and neglect, as well as adult survivors of child abuse. Fence & Deck Connection also sponsors The Blue Ribbon Project’s St. Patrick’s Parade float in Annapolis as well as their Open House.Learn More
Backpacks of Love
We continue to be a donation drop off location for Backpacks of Love for The Blue Ribbon Project. The Blue Ribbon Project's Backpacks of Love program provides backpacks directly to children going into care. Each backpack is age and gender specific, and has 24-48 hours of NEW essential and comfort items. They are delivered to youth as soon as they enter foster care (ideally within a couple hours). You can find a list of each age and gender, and what is included in a backpack for that child on their website.
Food Bank of Anne Arundel County
Fence & Deck Connection supports the Food Bank with donations from our residential sales profits as a way of giving thanks and supporting those in need during the holiday season. We also are a Gold Sponsor of their Feeding Hope Fundraising event each year where the proceeds help the Anne Arundel County Food Bank provide fresh, nutritious food to our neighbors throughout Anne Arundel County.Learn More
Fence & Deck Connection’s Annual Holiday Drive
Fence & Deck Connection started its Annual Holiday Drive as a customer appreciation event and way of giving back to the community that has supported its business. The event has grown tremendously over the years and welcomes hundreds of visitors each year. The event is completely FREE and full of activities, food, crafts, and photos with Santa. The company chooses a local charity to be its recipient each year and asks the community to rally in support of that charity through monetary donations, toys, or more specific items relative to that given charity. This event is a huge success each and every year, in large part to the generosity of the community.
SPCA of Anne Arundel County
Fence & Deck Connection is a proud supporter of our four legged friends at the SPCA of Anne Arundel County. We are a sponsor at two of their major events held annually, The Walk for the Animals & the Puppy Plunge. The SPCA of Anne Arundel County provides shelter and humane care to homeless animals in our community.Learn More
