Makeover Monday: TimberTech Deck in Jessup, Maryland

When homeowners purchase a new home in a newer housing community or townhome development, they’re left with the the opportunity to design an additional outdoor space that will add value to their home and ample room to relax and entertain. Before a deck or patio can be installed, the space often looks bare and unfinished. Project Consultant Jeff Gottleib met with our customers at their Jessup home for a free onsite estimate appointment to discuss their vision and any HOA requirements for their outdoor blank canvas. They decided to go with beautiful TimberTech decking in one of our in stock colors!

Our hardworking and experienced installation crews constructed an 18′ x 16′ pressure treated wood frame, with one 4′ x 4′ landing near the front steps entrance. We then installed TimberTech Edge Prime+ composite decking in the Dark Cocoa hue with color matching screws. The Prime+ collection of composite decking is defined by vivid color blending capturing the dimensional aesthetic of traditional lumber, clean lifework for a simple, inviting look, and lighter weighted scalloped boards for easy installation but a secure foot feel. Dark Cocoa color boasts a warm brown shade, flecked with varied hues that give natural color dimension while also staying true to TimberTech’s low maintenance and high-performance features.

The classic and popular choice of white Washington-style vinyl railing and black round balusters encloses the new space, and one set of 4′ wide steps lead down to the grassy yard. White PVC trims the fascia of the deck and steps, and all support beams and posts area also wrapped in white vinyl. This makes for a clean, finished look!
