A new deck can completely transform the overall appearance of your home and backyard. Looking for a bit of a refresh with superior craftsmanship and long-lasting composite decking, homeowners in Millersville reached out to Fence & Deck Connection to design their outdoor space. Project Consultant Jeff Gottleib worked with our clients in Anne Arundel County to install a beautiful new second-story living space that adds more room for outdoor activities and relaxation, and also brightens up the home’s exterior. Take a look at the transformation below…
We first demoed and hauled away the existing wood deck before constructing a new 22′ x 12′ pressure treated wood frame with a rear beam and 4′ x 4′ landing off of the front. The wood decking which was painted a grey hue is replaced by TimberTech Edge Prime+ composite decking in Sea Salt Gray.
Timbertech Edge Prime+ brings affordable, beautifully monochromatic decking to your outdoor living space with moderately varied hues. Featuring a subtle, straight grain pattern, the long-lasting, scalloped decking in this collection creates an authentic wood visual that is sure to impress, A matching seam board runs down the center of the deck.
White vinyl Washington-style railing with black round aluminum spindles encloses the area and one set of 4′ wide steps lead down to the backyard area. We tried the fascia of the deck and the side of steps with white PVC for the final touch.
