A recent project in Glen Burnie has taken this outdoor space from standard to spectacular. Working closely with our project consultant, Andrew Vidulich, we installed approximately 264 square feet of Trex Tide Pool decking, offering a fresh, modern aesthetic. With its subtle blue-gray tones, the Tide Pool decking perfectly complements the home’s surrounding landscape, providing a cool, relaxing vibe to the entire area.
Before:

Before all these beautiful changes could take place, we demoed and hauled away the existing deck, making room for the new vision to come to life. In addition to the new Trex Tide Pool decking, we also upgraded the railings and fascia. The sleek white PVC railings, paired with standard balusters, lend an elegant yet minimalistic touch to the design. These railings are durable, weather-resistant, and low-maintenance—perfect for homeowners who want beauty without the hassle. The white PVC fascia wraps were also installed to complete the refined look, providing a clean and polished finish along the edges of the deck.
An open frame under the deck was created, offering both aesthetic appeal and practical storage space. This feature gives the space a light and airy feel while adding functionality to the design.
One of the most striking upgrades was the replacement of the old railings on the basement wall with new white aluminum railings in the Alta style. These railings have a sophisticated design and excellent durability, ensuring the structure stands the test of time while maintaining its beauty.
