Makeover Monday: Trex Deck in Howard County, Maryland

There are numerous reasons why many of our Maryland clients make the switch from wood decking to composite decking. With Trex decking, you can enjoy long-lasting, low-maintenance beauty for decades to come thanks to their 25-year warranty. After all, your time outdoors shouldn’t be spent sanding, scraping and staining – it should be spent sitting on your deck enjoying the view!

This week’s Makeover Monday features a beautiful transformation from wood to composite decking in Howard County, Maryland.

BEFORE:

Kevin Bullion, one of our deck installation Sales Consultants, worked with homeowners in Elkridge, Maryland to revamp their large outdoor space. Our talented crews removed and hauled away the existing wood deck and stairs to replace it with a free-standing Trex Enhance composite deck off of the second story back door. The new Toasted Sand color is a tawny seashell brown with subtle dark-brown splashes, featuring a low-maintenance, wood-like grain pattern. White vinyl textured fascia wraps the deck, and white vinyl Washington-style railings with black aluminum balusters secures the perimeter. The new look is clean and bright, and the removal of the numerous steps creates an open, airy space directly outside of the ground floor’s French doors.
