Last year Fence & Deck Connection held our first ever Pumpkin Carving Contest for our employees and immediate families. Last year was so much fun, and we didn’t want our customers to miss out — We’re excited to announce that we’re opening up the 2021 Pumpkin Carving Contest to our amazing residential customers!
Starting Friday, October 8 until Monday, October 25, we’re asking our Maryland residential fence and deck customers to show us your top notch pumpkin carving skills! One Grand Prize Winner will receive a $100 Amazon gift card! Contest rules below:
- Starting October 8, send a picture or video of your finished pumpkin to marketing@fencedeckconnect.com. You MUST also include a piece of paper or sign in the photo with the phrase, FDC Halloween 2021 (so we know it’s really your artwork – random Google images just won’t work!)
- All participants must be a past or current Fence & Deck Connection customer
- Inappropriate pumpkins will be disqualified – we plan to post some of your jack-o’-lanterns on social media, so please keep it family friendly
- Entries must be submitted by 4pm on Monday, October 25
- Bonus points for incorporating a Fence & Deck Connection or industry themed pumpkin (but not required)!
On Tuesday, October 26, the Marketing team will narrow down the entries to the Top 5 jack-o’-lanterns. Finalists will be announced in a newsletter, where all recipients will be able to cast one vote for their favorite pumpkin. Additionally, we will post the 5 finalists on our Facebook and Instagram accounts for a community vote.
Cut off date for voting will be noon on October 31st. Votes by fake social media accounts (or accounts recently set up for the sole purpose of voting) will not be counted. Once all the votes are tallied and compiled, we will announce the winners.
1st Place: $100 Amazon gift card
2nd Place: $50 Amazon gift card
3rd Place: $25 Amazon gift card
