Jim, We wanted to write to you to tell you how extremely pleased we are with our screened in porch. It looks absolutely fantastic, even better than we could have imagined! We had considered replacing our existing deck with a screened porch since moving into our home several years ago. The roof line on the rear of the house was inconsistent and seemed to pose a challenge for nearly all the contractors we spoke with regarding the project. No one presented an option that was acceptable to us. No one that is until we spoke with your company! When we needed to replace a few sections of fencing we called Fence and Deck Connection for an estimate. We also asked for an estimate to remove the deck and replace it with a screened porch. Dan Naumann came out to do measurements for both projects and he adequately communicated his concerns and suggestions regarding the challenging roof line. He was able to explain exactly how he would complete the project and make it look like an integral part of our home rather than just an added-on extra area. Once we decided to move forward with the project and your company, every aspect of the project was handled with complete professionalism. Carl Schmidt, our Project Manager, was fantastic to work with. He did a wonderful job keeping us apprised of the expected progress and corresponding timelines. The various people involved in the actual construction portion of the project were extremely skilled, polite and professional. They worked efficiently and always left the area clean at the end of every day. We highly recommend Fence and Deck Connection to anyone interested in adding a deck, porch or fence to their home! This company is simply put ... AWESOME! I am currently deployed aboard the USS JOHN C STENNIS CVN 74 and this company is repairing my privacy fence that flew off for free because I am military and deployed ... who does that???? Fence and Deck Connection, that's who. As I told them in an e-mail, a lot of people have thanked me for my service, but in 21 years, no one has ever done anything as special as this for me, I'm extremely grateful and humbled. Kyle, Thanks so much for all you did to make sure that my new fence was perfect! Fence & Deck Connection didn't just meet my own standards for my work; they far exceeded it! I expected a nice wood fence and prompt service. What I received was MORE, much more solid posts, that were 50% bigger than other installed fence posts I had seen More lumber! About 30% more vertical boards than most fences of the size and type I wanted Attention to details! Installers asked how high my gates should be above my sidewalk and ground. They gave me exactly what I wanted. Great follow-up! My salesman called back, but a FDC rep also came by the house to check, too.
