Makeover Monday: TimberTech Deck in Laurel, Maryland

Many homeowners underestimate the maintenance a wooden deck needs, and never consider replacing a wood deck with something like composite, which requires far less maintenance. When an older deck becomes unsafe or unsightly, composite decking becomes the easy choice for a deck that is barefoot-friendly, attractive, and durable for the long haul.

Andrew Vidulich, one of Fence & Deck Connection’s experienced Sales Consultants, worked with homeowners in Laurel, Maryland to transform an old, rotting wooden deck that was definitely showing it’s age, into a beautiful new outdoor space that will last for decades.

Before:

We first removed and hauled away the existing wooden deck, before replacing with a new structure supporting 252 sq. ft. of TimberTech decking in Antique Leather. White vinyl railing with round black aluminum balusters complement the warmth of the golden oak and natural cedar aesthetic that TimberTech Antique Leather offers. White vinyl fascia wraps adorn the deck’s perimeter, and 12 steps lead down to the yard below, like the previous deck.

The updated deck has the appearance of natural wood, but with far less requires maintenance! Our Howard County clients will be able to spend more time enjoying the outdoors than worrying about splinters, rot and mold.
