We contacted Fence and Deck Connection to build a pergola over our backyard patio and it looks great! All of the staff we communicated with were very professional, courteous and knowledgeable. Brian was especially attentive, visiting us multiple times to survey the area and offer suggestions as well as the costs for each option. He followed up several times and to make certain we were completely satisfied with the process. Carl also visited our home and used his expertise to offer options on how best to build the pergola. He made certain we were pleased with the design drawings and construction plan, and was on-site during construction.

Construction was completed within one day and the staff was very accommodating to our requests, making a last minute adjustment to the design plan. The pergola is structurally sound and has given us the shade we needed in addition to providing elegance to our backyard - many of our neighbors have complimented our pergola.

We were very impressed by Fence and Deck's skill, attention to detail, and customer service. We have referred friends and family to Fence and Deck, and highly recommend them!

His explanations regarding my future fence were detailed enough to sway my decision. It was the small details such as using stainless steel nails in cedar. We received several quotes on this project and we selected your firm because of your personable service. After going over the project details with Mike, he and his crew started working right away. There were a couple of material mix-up issues where the warehouse sent the wrong item. Hello Kevin, Thanks for your follow up on our recent fence project. We are very pleased with the end result. The fence is beautiful and the difference in our yard is impossible to describe in a few words. The crew did not have the best weather when the project began. It was very wet from heavy rains. If I had to complain about anything it would be the clay and the footprints with clay on the soles that was not very attractive. Clay is a given in the Harundale area so I wasn't surprised that there would be some clumps of it left behind. Your company did send out a crew to pressure wash the concrete around the house to remove most of the clay evidence and we were appreciative. All in all, I would recommend the Fence & Deck Connection if I ever have the opportunity. Have a great day!

I was somewhat skeptical about spending $32,000.00 on a deck. So, I went and did a search on the internet regarding Fence & Deck Connection. Brian: Yes, we were 'extremely' pleased with the work that you and your crew provided for us. We had recently adopted a little dog that had a tendency to want to wander. A neighbor had recommended your company when I asked about a fence that they had put up. Our preliminary meeting to discuss the project and take measurements went very well, and we liked your professionalism, and customer friendly attitude. When your crew arrived they were very well prepared, and equipped with all the materials that the job required. The weather that week was up in the high 90's, and it wouldn't have surprised us if they had to wait a few days to finish. However, each man was prompt, and worked very hard each day to complete the project in a time frame that was promised. They even worked extra long, on some of those hot days, to complete the job. Even though they were coming from Rockville, they were always here on time, and very conscientious to do a full days work. Hi Brian, We could not happier with our fence. The whole process went very smoothly - from the time of your first visit, all the way through to the fence installation. As you probably remember, you had to make two visits to layout the boundaries of the fence because we found out after the site survey that our backyard was actually a little bigger than we originally thought. Once we got the approval for the fence from our Home Owners Association, you were able to start the installation of the fence within a couple of days. The installation of the fence itself was finished in just a little over a day. We are very happy with our fence. But our dogs (two greyhounds and a labradoodle), who are able to run around freely outside on a daily basis, are even happier.
