The past few years we have completed a fair number of renovations around our house. During this time, we have come across business that have been criminal (stole our $$), been ok, better than average and exceptional. I can honestly say Fence & Deck Connection falls in the EXCEPTIONAL category. Our journey with F&D began with me filling out their online forum. Jeff W soon emailed me back and we set up an appt. Our sales person was Kevin B and he was very thorough and took the time to explain everything and answered our questions. He even replied to emails outside normal working hours. When he left one felt confident that the work that was to be done was going to be done to a very high standard. What really surprised me was the price. We had quotes form 3 other businesses, and they were not really that close. 1 was close but the contract was vague, so not well put together like F&D. I talked to Kevin about time to get the fence installed, he stated 2-4 weeks. I explained we had been told time-frames from other salesmen, then you put down the deposit and expectantly, the time frame given was much longer. He assured me that was not the case and put me in touch with Cheryl T. Superb lady to chat with and she assured me they had been meeting that 2-4-week window, even in their busier parts of the season. True to her word, once we signed the contract and put down the deposit via credit card (which happened quickly) the fence was installed in 13 days. They (Kevin and Cheryl) listened to that timeline concern and got the job done exceptionally well, just exceptional customer service. The appointed production manager for the install of the fence was Francisco C. To no surprise another outstanding gentleman. He came to the house at the arranged time and we walked through the process again, laid out the fence with flags (so one does not have to be home on install day) Again answered my questions, went over what takes place on Install day, just an outstanding fellow. Day of the fence install, the crew of 3 and Francisco should up around 0830 and quickly got to work. I have cameras all around my house and I checked up on their progress throughout the day and I can attest that these 3-gentleman worked very effectively and were very proud of their work. I was amazed that they were about to complete the whole fence in 1 day. So fast is good, but how did it look? Amazing, super straight, level and sturdy. Very impressive work. I would like to thank Jeff W, Kevin B, Cheryl T and Francisco C and the fence crew for an outstanding experience. They all listened to our concerns/questions and not once did they drop the ball. Sorry for this lengthy review, I feel if a company takes the time to provide quality service, the least I can do is take the time to write a review. I know this review may sound too positive, but it truly has been an exceptional experience from start to finish.

Fence and Deck Connection is an amazing company to work with. They have done three incredible projects for us in the last two years. They just finished a beautiful outdoor deck. The entire team is incredible to work with. Quick to respond to any questions or issues you may have before, during and even long after your project is done. *crew - The fence is very well-built and the crew was responsive to input. The team was professional. *salesman (David Scott King) - Although there were errors (caused by other factors) with determining the land boundaries and our neighbors behaved unreasonably concerning the property line, from the cost estimate to the final agreement, David King came to the property multiple times to meet with us and ensure the final solution was correct. He was willing to take as long as necessary to get the job requirements defined correctly, and he patiently and professionally guided us through our choices to find the best solution and resolve the difficulties (that he did not create). He did not push us into decisions, but gave us all of the relevant facts and made clear recommendations, so that we could determine what we wanted. I would strongly recommend that others choose David King to build a fence or deck.

Out of 10 contractor estimated for my deck project, Fence and Deck Connection was among one of the better priced. I decided to go with them for the deck build because they offer a lifetime build warranty on top of the manufactures warranty for the composite decking. My build wast easy. I went back and forth a bunch of times on the product I wanted, the time frame that I wanted it to be built and each change I made, Fence and Deck Connection was there to help me with it, no problems. From Jeff in Sales, to the Project Managers TJ and Carl, everyone I worked with at the company provided top notch customer service. They were always prompt on returning emails and answering questions. The build crew worked fast and efficiently and were very friendly. The deck they built turned out better than I thought and I am completely happy with it! I had such a great experience with this company that I recommended them to my neighbor for the fence they wanted installed and, after getting several estimates, they also chose Fence and Deck Connection. Their fence looks beautiful, too! I highly recommend this company for any project!

Fence & Deck Connection replaced my front porch and a small fence. From the start, our salesman, Steve Nehus, was extremely patient with our many questions about the product and the various options that are available. The entire process of choosing decking materials and making design decisions can be overwhelming to the inexperienced. But at all times I felt that Steve and the other individuals I came in contact with at Fence & Deck Connection were doing things to make the entire experience stress free. What especially stands out to me is the good communication. Usually, I heard back via email or phone within the same day or even within the same hour. The company kept me informed of the project every step of the way. I was not home at the time of installation, but the projects were completed to my satisfaction. Communication was exceptional. They listened to my input, and got the design and details spot on the first time. Delivery on the installation timeline was perfect, accomplished by the leadership of TJ Farley and job foreman Eddie. They were very considerate in their moving about the property, where to place supplies, tools, etc. Workmanship was superlative! This project presented a number of challenges, given the house configuration, the number and placement of support elements and the complex angles involved. Phenomenal experience! From end-to-end, this project proceeded in a textbook fashion, from the first meeting with Kevin Bullion, through the design and scheduling process with Carl Schmidt, to the Master Craftsmanship of Eddie and his team, managed by TJ Farley, this was the smoothest project of this sort for me ever! I was looking to get a privacy fence for my house I just bought. I wanted something that would look nice and last with no maintenance. I talked to my friend who had a fence installed a few years ago and he said he used Fence & Deck Connection. His fence has been up about 6 years and still looks perfect so I called Fence & Deck Connection. I spoke with Tracy who was great to deal with. He gave me a ballpark figure and then came out to measure. I received my official estimate and I was happy with the quote so I went for it. Fransisco came out to measure after that and asked me detailed questions to get the fence just right for me and had a crew come install the fence. The crew who did the installation was great. They got done fast and did a perfect job. I can’t find a single imperfection. They were all very nice, spoke English and left absolutely zero mess behind. Every single person at Fence & Deck Connection I dealt with was friendly and nice and I would absolutely recommend them to anyone I know.

We received great communication from our salesman (Steve N.) each time we called, also from crew manager (Steve G.) who set up appointment before installation. The crew manager also called during the installation to confirm our satisfaction, and, came in person to meet with us to confirm our complete satisfaction and to inspect the installation. Both salesman and crew manager were absolutely outstanding. The hard working crew were absolutely wonderful and did an amazing job. The crew were respectful, hard working, clean and kind. They showed up when they said they would and worked tirelessly in nearly 100 degree or more heat. They rarely took breaks and only stopped for lunch when i offered to make something for them. It was a pleasure having them here and their work was beautifully executed. Your company exceeded our expectations when unbeknownst to anyone, the water table was so high that it created problems in getting the footers in. We were relieved to see so many workers come out to ensure the problems were taken care of and were very happy to see that we didn't have to pay anything additional for the sono footers.

I initially started working with the sales staff and namely, Kevin Bullion, to express our ideas for a tie-on fence. Mr. Bullion was excellent-- professional, friendly and helped make our decisions easily. He also provided an accurate timeline of when our project would begin, and what we would need to have ready to get started on time. Once our project started, the project manager, Steve Ghiardi, was phenomenal. Mr. Ghiardi remained accessible, responsive, flexible to changes in requests, and made significant efforts to ensure we were happy and satisfied with the finished product, making multiple trips out to our property to inspect and make adjustments accordingly. I could not have asked for a better experience with our fence installation, and the two professionals we worked closely with, made that happen. I hired Fence & Deck Connection on the recommendation of my neighbors, who had used them for their fence installation. I couldn't be happier. The company did everything they said they would do. Salesman, Steve Nehus, walked my property with me to gain an understanding of exactly what I needed to have done and gave me a fair estimate. Production manager, Steve Ghiardi, came out to do a pre-installation site visit which led to some plan modifications that made a big difference to the final product. The crew who came out arrived on time, worked efficiently and respectfully left the site in good clean condition. I had needed to have this fence to contain my 3 dogs, one of whom is an escape artist. I told the crew, and they conscientiously erected the fence as low to the ground as possible, just as I asked. The final product is exactly what I had in mind and the workmanship, excellent. That crew was terrific! I would highly recommend this company for any fencing needs. They did a beautiful job. They gave me a fence I can be proud of.

The installation site was kept clean after the work day and they completed in a record three days. YOUR WHOLE TEAM IS FANTASTIC!!! From the Start to Finish... My Sales Consultant, Joel Lewis was an outstanding individual, very knowledgeable, super friendly and accommodating. He was exceptional in providing the quote/estimate in a very timely fashion. Same day quote/estimate!!! Francisco, the Project Manager came to my home prior to the installation to verity and confirm placement of the fence lines. Francisco, too is a very knowledgeable and courteous!!! Communication was perfect throughout the production process!! Fence & Deck Connection superseded my expectations in the installation timelines!!! The installation crew showed up right on time. The Installation Crew was fast and efficient!!! Cleaned up after themselves like nothing ever happened, except for the wonderful new installation of the fence... Workmanship of the installation of the fence is due to the "ATTENTION TO THE DETAIL" and the thoroughness of all those who installed the new fence and hauled off the old. Keep up the GREAT work!!!

We are really happy with the fence, installers did a great job and even asked my opinion on gate locations. They wanted me to be happy with everything which I just expected they would come out and slam it together and be gone. But that wasn't the case. I will need to make some changes to the fence but it's due to my layout. Need to expand the lower area further out away from the bottom of the hill because when I ride my mower down the hill it's hardly enough room to stop. Also might want to install a larger access gate at the top of hill on the woods side. But yes, definitely will use you again.

To whom it may concern, I would like to express my complete satisfaction for the job done for me by Fence & Deck Connection. Every step of the project was handled very professionally. My salesman (Steve Nehus) was on time to meet with me(twice). He was very helpful and made sure my job was scheduled to the homeowner's time restraints. This was the main reason I went with this company. My production manager (Steve Ghiardi) was on time to go over fence layout with me and to meet with the installation crew on install day. He was "on top of things." The installation crew did a very nice job. They were very organized and neat. They took all trash and excess dirt with them and cleaned the fence before they left. They put the dirt they dug up into trash bags as they went, so there was no dirt mess left in the yard. Everyone exceeded my expectations and I hope to work with them again in the future. And yes, I do highly recommend Fence & Deck Connection.

First, my wife and I love the fence. We also were thrilled with the attention we received from the entire company from day one. Starting with you Steve: you were very thorough, not pushy, confident, initiated the meeting, showed up on time - completely professional. Same was true of Steve Ghiardi. He initiated the meeting, showed up on time and was very professional. The 5-member team that put up the fence were truly, "the dream team". I watched them off and on during the day and was impressed with the fluidity of how they constructed the fence. Each one of them worked really hard and efficiently. The proof is in the pudding - the fence looks stunning. Also, a shout out to the gentleman who came out yesterday (after Steve) to pick up the remaining wood. He put up two boards over the gap between the front gate and the side of the house - excellent!. And yes, Fence & Deck Connection exceeded our expectations. My entire experience with Fence and Deck Connection from the sales meeting and negotiations with Andrew, the pre-construction meeting with Francisco, the scheduling of the work, to the demo and fence replacement was exceptional. Working with the entire staff and crew was very easy, which is an uncommon occurrence in today's business world. We was truly impressed with the crew who completed the demo and installation in one day! On the first day of what we were told would be a 2 day job, the materials were delivered at 7 AM and the crew arrived promptly at 8 and immediately began the demo. When my wife and I left for work at 9 AM, we figured we would have a partial fence installed. Imagine our surprise when we returned home around 5:30 PM and found the crew just leaving. The crew foreman (I do not remember his name) stayed and told us the job was done and proceed to show us our new fence. He explained that he called an an extra crew so that they could complete the job because he did not like the idea of us not having a fence up because of our dog needing to go out, the possibility of deer coming into our yard from the woods, the fact that we have a pool, and an approaching winter storm. We were impressed that he took his job seriously and did what needed to be done to ensure we did not have to go without a fence. Needless to say we are very happy that we hired the Fence and Deck Connection and will gladly tell our friends about the exceptional service we received.
