This was our fourth project with Fence & Deck Connection in 3 years. In 2020, FDC expanded our existing deck and built us a vinyl privacy fence around our HVAC units. Earlier this year, FDC repaired our wooden perimeter fence. When we decided to build a pergola over our existing deck and to build a second deck, our only call was to FDC. Jimmy, our Sales Representative, heard our wishes. While our ask was something the team had never done before, we were confident in FDC's ability to execute. The finished product is excellent and we can't wait to enjoy the space!

I just wanted to take a second to thank Jake Wolod, David Burris, and the Fence & Deck installation team of Antonio, Roberto and Selvin. These gentlemen did a superb job starting with the property walk-thru process, meeting with the project manager David and most importantly with the actual fence designers/builders in Antonio, Roberto and Selvin. The guys did a fantastic job from start to finish. I was thoroughly impressed with the way the fence matched the contour of my property and with the detail on the custom-made gates that we desired. My wife and I couldn’t have been more satisfied on how the whole project turned out. I specifically wanted to take a moment to thank Antonio and his crew on the courtesy, thoughtfulness, and professionalism they showed me and my family. Each day after the work was completed, they walked the property and picked up any loose nails, wired mesh fence pieces, small pieces of wood and trash so that my 6-month-old puppy wouldn’t eat it. Since the job was completed just 2 weeks ago, I have had multiple neighbors stop by and ask to look my yard over because they like the way things looked from the view from our street. The entire team deserves praise for their work on this project. Jake's preliminary information during the estimate process was quickly calculated and drove my decision to pick Fence and Deck Connection over other estimates I sought out. John's oversight of the project, from developing the CAD drawings to making sure everything was in place to ensure the final inspection went without any issues, kept me at ease that everything was going to plan and within expectations. Facundo as the crew leader kept me regularly updated as to how the project was going, and I am grateful he was able to quickly repair expected water damage due to the installation of the old deck being replaced (the damage was expected, but I am appreciative of his ability to give reasonable expectations as to the effort needed to complete the repair work in addition to providing additional weather/waterproofing). Overall, I am very satisfied with my new deck and will recommend you all to friends/neighbors for their own projects.

David was assigned to work with us on our fencing project, which kicked-off in Aug 2023. I recently purchased a new home and the builder included a deck with this model. Unfortunately, this deck was closed off with no stairs and not the size I would have preferred. I contacted Fence & Deck Connection to discuss options regarding an extension of my deck, with stairs. They have done quite a bit of work in my community so I was able to see many finished products. They immediately came out and discussed options with me and provided me with a build out of exactly what I was looking for! They took care of permit documentation for the county which was a huge deal to me. They also assisted me with the documentation that was required for my HOA! I even decided a few weeks later to add skirting to the bottom covering the area under the deck and that wasn't an issue at all. It was added to the work order immediately. They keep you posted on the status of the paperwork, when they are coming out to start and how long it will be until completion by whichever method you prefer (email, text). Communication is key when you do these types of projects and I was definitely impressed. They also offer many options for payment including financing. I couldn't be more pleased with the customer service and finished product! My deck is beautiful! I will absolutely be contacting Fence & Deck Connection when I am ready to fence in my yard next year! The crew that installed my deck was great. They went above & beyond installing our deck. They were all professional, and cleaned up after themselves every day before they left. Project was completed in 4 days. They had to tear the old deck off, install a few additional footers and install the new deck & lighting. The whole team was great. TJ would come by and make sure things were moving along and then again for the final walk through. I would not call another company other than Fence & Deck Connection.

Project was started before expected. The quality and workmanship was excellent. I am extremely pleased with the overall project as well as everyone I worked with. Andrew was my salesperson who came out in a timely manner. He spent an adequate amount of time and was professional. Mike was the project manager and he communicated with me along the way. John worked mostly alone building the deck and working tirelessly every day until complete. The deck was left dirty initially and I was most impressed that Mike made sure he had someone out to clean it up. It was initially rinsed off which did not removed the dirt. He then had someone come out specifically to clean it. It still was dirty but at that point I figured I would have to clean it myself. Mike assured me he would take care of it. He had someone come out and scrub the dirt. It looks beautiful. I couldn’t be happier with the whole project as well as the crew. I will highly recommend to anyone who asks. Thank you!

Puppy needs a fenced yard. We can't express how happy we are without new fence. I contacted 3 different places and Fence & Deck Connection was the only company that wanted to come out to see what I needed. (the other sent me an approx. cost in email, with nearly no info on what I would be getting) The rep came out to measure the yard and discuss options. He was extremely helpful with all my questions, and I felt good with making a decision. Within 24 hours (more like a couple of hours) I had the estimate. Another rep sent me an email a day later, just to see if I had any questions. I said no, and told them to book a date. I had to reach out to my HOA and I put Fence & Deck info; and Fence and Deck actually worked with my HOA to discuss the plat and got approvals. (amazing, unexpected customer service) I asked if they could come out once more when my husband was home, so he could understand what would happen next. The project manager was happy to do so and on that visit, we knew we had selected the right company. We set a date, and right on target they were here putting up our new fence. The crew was SUPER, they set the dirt from the holes in an area I had asked to fill-in a dip I had. To my surprise they had the fence up in 3-5 hours (I think closer to 3, but it was so fast I couldn't say for sure. Each time they said they would be here or call... Right on Time (never 1 min late) Professional, friendly and high work ethics. The fence looks incredible! My neighbors are now thinking of putting one up as well. Lots of comments, but most of all we Love it. We are so happy with Fence & Deck Connection and would recommend them to anyone (which we have). Great Company, Great Team, Great Work!

This is by far the best experience with a contractor I have ever had. The sales associate was professional and helpful and answered all of my questions about the fence product and installation process. Our project manager was also excellent. He obviously had a lot of experience installing fences and answered all of my questions about surveys and permits. We do not have an HOA so the County rules apply to us. This is our third project with Fence & Deck Connection: two sections of our fence, and now the deck. Our previous, excellent experiences with Fence & Deck are the reason we chose them for our deck replacement. The team came to our house and evaluated our deck options. They quickly and efficiently worked with us to narrow down options. Our deck was a bit tricky due to the home design - the deck would have to span a basement walkout with stairs - so getting the dimensions right and within code required extra precision. The folks at Fence & Deck walked us through everything that was necessary: permits, HOA approval, etc. The removal of the old deck was neat and efficient. The installation of the new deck was fast and professional. The crew took extra care to ensure all debris was removed. The new deck is beautiful! I am thrilled with my black estate fence! From initial contact to final installation, Fence and Deck Connection has been incredibly helpful and quick to respond throughout the project. I started with a request for a quote in May 2022. My HOA wouldn't approve. Jake was great about working on modifications to the original proposal to comply with our HOA guidelines and provided me paperwork to include in my 2nd and 3rd appeals to the HOA. I was finally approved in March. Stephen was great on the installation: getting the permit, contacting Miss Utility and overseeing the 2-man installation crew. They were happy to accommodate our schedule around the recent sod we had laid. The installers were careful to do minimal damage to the new sod and the garden beds. When the crew left, it looked as though the fence was always part of our landscaping. I am so grateful for the communication and expertise the Fence and Deck Connection team brought to our project! Cost wise - They were not the least expensive nor the most expensive of the estimates we had gotten...but their product was a bit thicker and had a better warranty. I highly recommend Fence and Deck!!

Almost 20 years ago we found ourselves in need of replacing an old cheap backyard wood fence. We had no idea who to choose and by luck we choose Fence and Deck Connection! As you know, I interviewed four different fence companies as we wanted to get just the right fence and feel comfortable with an established company. While your company was more expensive than any of the other fence businesses I interviewed, it was worth every penny! From walking into your business showroom and being greeted right away by your staff and having all my many questions patiently answered to the excellent installation experience, the whole process was amazing! Your company’s frequent communications and updates, outstanding customer service, and first-class professional installation, everything was perfect. Not only that, but the product was EXACTLY what we wanted and created the historic look we sought to match our 125+ year old Victorian home in historic Eastport. The installation team receives special mention - not only did they arrive on time and worked very hard late into the day, but they pointed out a few things that needed to happen to make the fence and gates work for our unique home and driveway which were spot on! Plus, they cleaned up every piece of debris from unpacking the new fencing and removing the old fence, which I REALLY appreciated! Shall I continue? Every aspect of this project was handled with complete professionalism from the initial discussion with sales consultant, Steven Nehus, to the site survey and measurements by the project manager, Mike Slagle. Every interaction was cordial and professional. The work crew was highly skilled and very hard working. It was impressive to see a beautiful eight foot wide gate custom made from planks of lumber. Mr. Slagle and the crew leader provided continuous oversight and supervision to ensure that the fence was constructed with precision, and the work sight was cleaned thoroughly upon completion. Our experience with Fence and Deck Connection was a very positive one from the start to check out fence selections at their facility. The office staff was very helpful answering questions and setting up an appointment. The site visit by staff went well and I was able to select the fence color and type that day and signed the contract for installation within the next few days. Another gentleman arranged to visit our property prior to install to make sure everything would go well on the installation date. Three gentlemen worked very hard the day of the installation and finished the job with no delays. They were very professional and left the site clean and tidy. Eddie took his time to explain all the options that I had, he was not pushy, very polite and professional. He gave us time to discuss and decide what we wanted. My wife and I agreed that this would be a great choice. Next we worked with Francisco. He led us through the process of what was going to happen, gave us a date the crew showed up and they did a wonderful job. We were told that it would take maybe two days but they finished in about a day and a half. The crew cleaned up the areas they were working in and left a yard in order. Fast forward to late Dec 2022, I reached out to Jimmy, the same person I worked with a year ago, to see if they could install a deck for me. We had a replacement fence done recently by Fence and Deck Connection. I feel that the job was done well and with professionalism. The sales person Kevin, was the most thorough of the three companies in his presentation for the fence replacement. I had estimates from three different fencing companies. Then I was handed off to the area manager Francisco, who I spoke with regarding expectations. Then the job manager Walter and I walked the job site and I discussed my concerns. I must say I was impressed with the amount of work that the crew accomplished in one and one half days. Which was the complete removal of an existing 30-year-old board on board fence, replaced with a vinyl type fence. While I was not available at the time the job was completed to do an inspection, Francisco came back to walk the job and listened to my concerns. Walter and his crew returned later to deal with my concerns successfully. Their estimate was well within the "ballpark" of the other estimates. I think the overall job was a job well done.

I want you to know how much we appreciate the excellent customer service that you and your crew provided. The craftsmanship of the deck is truly amazing. You and your crew should be proud for the production and the quality of the materials used. I am especially impressed with the way your crew worked seamlessly. From start to finish there was a rhythm and each person did their part and it seemed to just flow until completed. They even came back and washed the deck when it was done! Impressive! We have had many professional services performed on various items in our home. I can honestly say, I have never been given this level of quality customer service and final product in any other area. I had decided to hold off on purchasing a deck for a least a year or two based on a quote I received from the company that installed my fence in August. Lucky for me, I received an "End of the Year Sale" flyer from Jimmy in December which showed the same deck for thousands less. I was sold. Even better, Fence & Deck Connection had already installed other decks in my community so the whole process was easy and worry free. Due to my schedule, we were able to complete the whole process via email, photos and phone. The whole team was responsive to my questions and even a design change imposed by my HOA. My deck is beautiful and I'm really looking forward to better weather so I can get out there to enjoy it. Thank you Fence & Deck Connection. I would recommend this company to everyone.

My experience with Fence and Deck Connection was exceptional. Jake and David were very thorough and professional throughout the entire project. Jake went the extra mile in helping us coordinate the removal of our neighbor's fence in addition to installing our new fence. Jake was very patient and understanding of our situation, a true professional. David kept us informed through every step of the install process. He was on time for every appointment with us. He was very thorough in making sure he understood our project needs. We are very pleased with our new fence and the service we received.

Between the salesman (Tracy Ours), the project manager (John Kilchenstein), and the installation crew, every individual we worked with was beyond helpful, respectful and knowledgeable. They were able to fit us into their schedule quicker than we anticipated for the installation, and the crew was very polite and efficient. We were shocked at how quickly they were able to construct our deck and stairs. Both our salesman (Tracy) and project manager (John) were able to answer each and every question we had, and went above and beyond to ensure we were satisfied customers. We are extremely pleased with the entire process from start to finish, and are also very satisfied with the finished product. This is the 2nd time we've used Fence & Deck Connection for our fencing needs. Our sales consultant, Jake, was prompt in providing an estimate for the work and explained the process well. The crew arrived on time and was very efficient in getting the work done, with quality. They cleaned up the work area well, and we are very pleased with our new fence. From your first visit for our estimate to Francisco's follow up inspection the installation of our fences was smooth and professional. Our new deck turned out really beautiful!! The entire Fence & Deck Connection team and the subcontractor who built the deck, Eddie Nava, and his crew were great and really did an amazing, quality job paying attention to every detail with the project!! They worked hard, were very respectful, patient and kind. Best company and subcontractor ever had! The Project manager, John K, ensured a timely completion and made sure everything was done to our satisfaction, and was very kind. David K, our Sales rep, did a great job with the design/details, pricing and was also very patient and kind. Additionally, the CAD engineering team also did a great job with the deck specifications for design/permitting and the permitting coordinator, Jessica, was a big help in the permit process. I used this company to build my split rail fence years ago and because they built a good fence and always provided great customer service/warranty was another reason I chose Fence & Deck Connection to build our custom deck and you have been in business over 30 years. I look forward to enjoying our new deck for many years to come.

Very professional organization and the overall design drawing were excellent. The production team stayed on schedule with the delivery of materials and the setting up of inspections. This allowed the crew to perform in a timely and professional manner. Quality of the workmanship, lumber, and supplies were excellent. Love our new fence. So glad we went with Fence & Deck Connection. Tracy did a great job explaining the products and process to us and even measured our fence lines in the pouring down rain. The installation team was courteous and they hustled to get our fence done in one day. Other than a brand new beautiful fence, they left nothing behind that would suggest a work crew was there.

Our experience with Fence & Deck was extraordinary from the beginning. We were paired up with sales consultant, Tom, who not only took the time to assist us with designing our deck but went above and beyond to make sure we were able to have a specific decking material not easily found in today’s market. Tom came to our house to answer all questions the times we needed to meet in person, he was very quick in replying to our emails and never failed to follow up throughout the whole project. He even came after the deck was finished to make sure we were satisfied with our final product. We truly appreciate Tom’s input throughout the designing process which helped us finalize our project. The crew was very professional. They communicated with us and delivered a high quality product on time. We also had a wonderful experience with our project manager, TJ, who also responded to our questions and concerns in a timely manner. Our family highly recommends Fence & Deck and would hire them again without hesitation!
