The sales consultant (Jeff) was very knowledgeable and accommodating. He was very honest and professional, which was very refreshing! The crew was a great team. My only issue was when they were finished from the first day they left some garbage on my property. I of course notified the field manager Mr. Yost. Bill Yost was very professional. He’s great! Of course when the project was completed they cleaned up everything. Overall, I am Very satisfied with the outcome. My deck is beautiful and one of the best parts is that Fence and Decking gave me peace of mind when dealing with HOA and the Permit Office.

I was very impressed in the process Fence and Deck Connection has developed in each phase of the project Sale Jeff was a pleasure to work with timely providing the price, contract and timeline, which was all met. Then Steve came out and walked the property locating power lines into my house looked over the fence to be removed and asked if I had concerns, I told him about my underground PVC pipe for the rain spout. He asked if I could supply electric and water for the project and he did a nice upfront visit. The installer came and worked well together and completed the project timely. The after-quality control was great noting a fence picket was cracked and it was repaired timely! I was an Executive in the US Postal Service; VP Area Operations I saw total Quality Management at its best! I would use Fence and Deck Connection again and I would provide positive feedback if asked by anyone.

We are extremely happy! When the old deck came down the crew found some wood that was rotten and you could visibly see into the house through the holes. Fence and Deck Connection just installed a fence for my home. Firstly, I had been in contact with another company. But I moved away from them, because the interaction with the representative was simply not reliable and professional. I came upon Fence & Deck Connection on my Homeowners Association website. I love our new fence. The crew were extraordinary. They arrived around 8am and worked continually until almost 9pm to complete the project. Clean up was thorough after removing a 37 year old wood fence/posts and then replacing with a beautiful vinyl fence. No random screws, nails, or bits of building materials left anywhere on the grounds. I have only positive things to say about my experiences from contacting the company for a job quote to meeting project and construction supervisors to the inspection for quality control. The total cost fell within my budget and I know that I am the proud owner of a beautiful, quality structure. This is the second project I had with FDC. I reached out to them because I was very happy with their performance on the first job. This project went just as well. FDC was an extremely positive experience in working with a contractor on any of the projects I have recently experienced (windows, roof, my previous deck attempts). I wanted to repair or replace my falling apart deck over 600 sq ft with composite material. I contacted almost 10 different companies. Some suggested to repair and keep the old posts and frames and the others' suggestion was demolishing everything and rebuild a new deck. Mr. Jeff's ("Fence and Deck") explained to me why the whole deck is needed to be rebuild and his explanation was very clear and reasonable. In addition, the cost for the demolishing the old deck and rebuilding new one was not that much difference comparing with other estimations I got just for the repair. Their crews are very hard-working people and courteous and finished the deck in 5 days! I also very appreciate that they built extra steps under my two French doors for safety with no cost for me. I would very strongly recommend "Fence and Deck" to whoever planning to upgrade your house. Fence and Deck knows what they are doing and responds promptly for any A/S and fixes it right away. I really thank to Mr. Jeff and Mr. TJ and all other crews working for my deck project.

Worth every penny! From the moment my sales rep, Jeff, met with me, the process flowed seamlessly. There was no overselling. FDC worked with me to meet my desired finished product but respected my budget. The project managers, Ben & TJ, communicated effectively and kept me informed until my re-deck installation day. I wasn't home while this took place but a neighbor was and told me she was thoroughly impressed by the crew that came. She said they were very organized and respectful of my property. The re-deck was expected to take 1 1/2 days but was completed in one day. When I saw it, I could only smile and be excited about my beautiful new Trex deck. What a piece of mind to have a lower maintenance, gorgeous deck here on out!!! Follow up occurred as well to ensure my satisfaction of my finished project. Hands down, no issue whatsoever. Everything was explained and laid out to us beforehand. It was a simple, quick, and easy process. We couldn’t be happier with the installation. The team of guys were hard working, friendly, and thorough. They did a great job and everything was complete on schedule. They came everyday around the same time and worked until dark (and even past dark). They were very conscious and considerate to our property. It was sooo cold out when they came to do our deck (week before Christmas) so I offered daily for them to eat their lunch in our basement but the head guy said they were dirty and they didn't want to get dust in our house. I didn’t mind because I laid out blankets. I just felt bad they had to work in the cold and then take their lunch break in the cold. I wish they would have taken the offer but the thought on their end was noted. Everything was solidly put together. We couldn’t be happier. That crew was awesome and worked so hard! They were not like your average work crew, standing around talking, hanging out on their phone. From the second they showed up until they left (aside from lunch) they were NONSTOP. Take good care of them because workers like that are not easy to come by and they are worth every penny!

Out of 10 contractor estimated for my deck project, Fence and Deck Connection was among one of the better priced. I decided to go with them for the deck build because they offer a lifetime build warranty on top of the manufactures warranty for the composite decking. My build wast easy. I went back and forth a bunch of times on the product I wanted, the time frame that I wanted it to be built and each change I made, Fence and Deck Connection was there to help me with it, no problems. From Jeff in Sales, to the Project Managers TJ and Carl, everyone I worked with at the company provided top notch customer service. They were always prompt on returning emails and answering questions. The build crew worked fast and efficiently and were very friendly. The deck they built turned out better than I thought and I am completely happy with it! I had such a great experience with this company that I recommended them to my neighbor for the fence they wanted installed and, after getting several estimates, they also chose Fence and Deck Connection. Their fence looks beautiful, too! I highly recommend this company for any project!

It all started at the Maryland Home and Garden Show with the purchase of a hot tub. Jeff happened to be working the show when I requested Fence and Deck Connection come out to verify that my existing deck would support the `small` hot tub. Unfortunately the existing structure had started to deteriorate and the deck would need to be replaced. Jeff went out of his way to work with me to come up with several viable options so I could afford a new deck and ultimately a sunroom that had been on my wish list for many years. He never acted like a salesman and always had my best interest in mind. Jeff remained professional, kind, caring, compassionate, and never lost patience with me even though I asked a million questions and changed my mind more times than either of us can count! Carl explained every aspect of the project and I was amazed at how well orchestrated the delivery of the materials were so the construction crew had everything they needed at the right time. The project had some hiccups along the way, the biggest of which occurred when the hot tub was delivered and the delivery company managed to damage 12 deck boards (3 in the sunroom that Henry and his crew were working on at the time). Carl and Henry immediately sprung into action (while I cried) to figure out a plan to replace the deck boards even though they did not cause the damage. Carl continually reassured me that everything would be fine, for me to sit back, relax and let them work their ?magic.? Henry and his crew did an amazing job building the deck and sunroom, they answered my questions and it was apparent they really cared about making the customer happy. Jeff and Carl have become my ?Dream Maker’s, every day I smile when I look at my beautiful deck and sunroom. Fence and Deck Connection is a top notch company, with an eye for detail, who goes out of their way to ensure customers are happy! I will definitely use them for my next project.

I wanted to write you, at the Front Office, to make you aware of what was a tremendous customer experience. My wife and I had considered purchasing a fence for our home for several years. This year we decided to make the move and sourced six quotes from local companies.
We have a fairly standard 75 x 100 yard with a neighboring fences on some of the property lines. Our goal was to establish a fence in line with those fences, and ensure the property lines were legal, while ensuring we did not give up property. And all for a affordable cost!
We met with several companies before yours. Every one said that what we wanted was impossible or impractical. We wanted a four-sided fence with the "nice side" out all around. Those that said we could have that argued (yes argued) we had to give up at least a foot of property line for proper nailing. In addition, those same companies either told us a land survey was not necessary or wanted anywhere from $800-1500 for it.
Then enter Jeff Gottleib and your company. His initial sales pitch was incredibly simple - find a way to say "yes" to what I wanted. He looked at the property line and said "we can do it." He heard my concern about legality and ensured me a survey would take place and at an incredible price! In short, he fully met my desires and then exceeded my expectations!!
The positive experience didn't stop there... Jeff's communication efforts were extraordinary. He informed me every step of the way in the planning and scheduling process. Further, he acted as a go-between with the survey company. Exceptional above and beyond what I thought of a "sales-guy."
I want to also ensure kudos are given to Alberto and his production team. He and his four-man crew were consummate professionals! The product they fashioned is beautiful. Truly amazing is how incredibly close they were able to place that pesky neighboring fence line portion. These gentlemen deserve a raise! I was incredibly impressed by the workmanship and attention to detail. Even their customer service was extraordinary... I had many piles of downed tree branches I was intending on cleaning up - this crew cleaned everything up. That touch was special. Not for the effort but for the thought.
And once again, after our walk through we noticed a very small deviation on our gate that would need to be fixed. We showed it to Jeff and he immediately worked to schedule a rectification.
Your product, service and reputation are solidified with us for years to come. We look forward to future projects with you! Thank you for choosing quality and service over commercialization. It shows and we will be back because of it.
