I would like to take a moment to complement Fence & Deck Connection for the terrific job they did installing my new split rail wooden fence. Every aspect of this project was handled with complete professionalism from the initial discussion with sales consultant, Steven Nehus, to the site survey and measurements by the project manager, Mike Slagle. Every interaction was cordial and professional. The work crew was highly skilled and very hard working. It was impressive to see a beautiful eight foot wide gate custom made from planks of lumber. Mr. Slagle and the crew leader provided continuous oversight and supervision to ensure that the fence was constructed with precision, and the work sight was cleaned thoroughly upon completion. Our experience with Fence and Deck Connection was a very positive one from the start to check out fence selections at their facility. The office staff was very helpful answering questions and setting up an appointment. The site visit by staff went well and I was able to select the fence color and type that day and signed the contract for installation within the next few days. Another gentleman arranged to visit our property prior to install to make sure everything would go well on the installation date. Three gentlemen worked very hard the day of the installation and finished the job with no delays. They were very professional and left the site clean and tidy. I can't say enough good things about working with Steve, Mike and the crew from Fence and Deck Connection. I always had an update when requested. They had double and triple checked that the fence we wanted was placed in the rights areas and that the design we chose was verified and ready to be installed. I was pleased to see they offered a nice military discount which made me feel taken care of. When the crew came for install they were quick. I couldn't believe they did all that work in 4 hours. We were amazed. They all worked like a well-oiled machine together. We're very happy with our fence it looks great! First off, I am happy with the workmanship and quality of wood used. The crew of 5 did an awesome job. Alberto, their lead man, was very polite in responding to my questions and he works with the rest of the crew none stop. Steven Nehus, the salesman, is very detailed with the pricing and plan layout. He has been very patient in making adjustment in pricing and layout every time we request for revisions and other options. I was researching companies to do a fencing project for my townhouse. I consulted Angie's List and reached out to about 5 different local companies to get quotes. Fence & Deck Connection provided the best quote for the type of fence I wanted. From the pre-installation perspective, the sales agent (Steve Nehus) came to my house, had samples for me to review (not just pictures in a catalog), took measurements, and gave me a quote by the end of that day. He answered all my questions and did a great job going over all the ins and outs of what the project would entail. What was a good selling point too is that they took care of the additional logistics of obtaining a permit and consulting with utility companies. Other fencing companies required me to do those tasks or requested additional fees if I had them do it. In the later process I worked with the project manager (Steve Ghiardi) who helped to finalize the details and take final measurements and coordinate a date. On the day of installation, the crew arrived on time. They were able to park their truck nearby and cone it off. They got right to work and had everything set by mid-afternoon. They cleaned up all the debris and left the area spotless. Overall, I had a great experience with Fence & Deck Connection and would recommend them to friends and family in the area. I'm glad I did my research and found this company. The fence looks great and so far so good! Other notes: I liked that Fence & Deck connection was modern in terms of using DocuSign for the contract as well as using an online portal for receipt of payment. Some other companies are more old fashioned and do everything by paper and only accept cash or checks.

I hired Fence & Deck Connection on the recommendation of my neighbors, who had used them for their fence installation. I couldn't be happier. The company did everything they said they would do. Salesman, Steve Nehus, walked my property with me to gain an understanding of exactly what I needed to have done and gave me a fair estimate. Production manager, Steve Ghiardi, came out to do a pre-installation site visit which led to some plan modifications that made a big difference to the final product. The crew who came out arrived on time, worked efficiently and respectfully left the site in good clean condition. I had needed to have this fence to contain my 3 dogs, one of whom is an escape artist. I told the crew, and they conscientiously erected the fence as low to the ground as possible, just as I asked. First, my wife and I love the fence. We also were thrilled with the attention we received from the entire company from day one. Starting with you Steve: you were very thorough, not pushy, confident, initiated the meeting, showed up on time - completely professional. Same was true of Steve Ghiardi. He initiated the meeting, showed up on time and was very professional. The 5-member team that put up the fence were truly, "the dream team". I watched them off and on during the day and was impressed with the fluidity of how they constructed the fence. Each one of them worked really hard and efficiently. The proof is in the pudding - the fence looks stunning. Also, a shout out to the gentleman who came out yesterday (after Steve) to pick up the remaining wood. He put up two boards over the gap between the front gate and the side of the house - excellent!. And yes, Fence & Deck Connection exceeded our expectations. Fence and Deck Connection, far exceeded our expectations. Not only in price, but timeline as well. From our first phone call to the final follow up call, we knew we were in good hands. When Steve Nehus arrived I thought I knew what we wanted in a porch. Steve immediately made some suggestions that not only change the look of the porch from, nice to wow and the price didn’t increase! We were given a bid on the spot! (Which was better than we had hoped) Steve was easy to talk to and easy to work with. Any questions I had from roof color to work schedule to questions about parking in our driveway were quickly and professionally answered by both Carl Schmidt and TJ Farley. TJ sent beautiful 3D drawings of what the porch would look like. The crew were such hard workers! Arriving early and staying late! Always polite and cleaning up at the end of the day. And when we threw a curve by asking for a gate on the porch, the one gentleman hand built it on site!!! We are very pleased with the quality and the price of our new porch. We have and will continue to recommend Fence and Deck Connection to family and friends.

The crew arrived on time and worked diligently to quickly complete the project. Steve, my salesman, called to confirm my appointment, arrived on time, was easy to work with, and offered great suggestions for my deck replacement. I was most impressed with the production aspect of the project. The materials and the roll off dumpster all arrived when the should. The dumpster was here less than 24 hours. Everything ran like a well oiled machine; better than I could have imagined.

I am very happy with my new fence installed by Fence & Deck Connection. It has made a big improvement to my yard. Salesman Steven N. came out to survey my fencing needs and I received a quote a week later. Other companies came out but never sent me a quote. The price was good for removing a chain link fence and installing 115 ft of vinyl fence and two gates. Comparable if not better than other bids. They were able to find a style of fence that I wanted that was not pictured in their brochure.
The workers did exactly what was needed to install the posts to attach the fence. This required a jack hammer to take out a small section of concrete. The foreman (Alberto) came later in the day to make sure the fence was being installed correctly. He noticed the fence and gate did not look good with the concrete pillars that were there. He suggested taking them out and extending the fence in their place. This required extra work of removing and hauling away the pillars and moving the already installed posts, and using the jack hammer to remove some concrete. As an extra bonus they hauled away all of the shrubs I tore out where the fence was being installed. This exceeded my expectations! I highly recommend Fence and Deck Connection, for a fair price, quality work, and probably more then you expected to have the best looking fence in the neighborhood.

We really love our new fence! We have been outside as much as possible, enjoying our backyard that now has a private and well constructed barrier from the alley.
The crew that came out to install the fence was fantastic. They were professional, efficient, and sensitive to the rest of my property. When there was a question about construction or any adaptations that had to happen, communication was easy and I was very pleased to be informed about any changes that needed to happen.
Our salesman Steve was a pleasure to work with. He knew what would work on our property and was always easy to get a hold of when a question came up. We felt respected and that we were getting a very fair deal for the product and services.
We did not have much contact with Bob, the production manager. I can only say that the sale and installation went so smoothly, I can’t imagine that we would have had to speak with him.

Steven Nehus was a great salesman, he explained everything to us about the fence installation and all the required permits. He walked through our yard and took the necessary measurements. He also gave us his contact information if we had a concern we could contact him.
The crew moved quickly and they got the job done in one day. The removed an existing fence and put up the fence in the same day. We really love our new fence.
Bob Hannon the production manager of Fence & Deck was great working with as well. His customer service rep contacted me to explain what was going to happen next. They worked around our schedule since we were going on vacation; they had the fence up before we left. Overall our first time experience working with everyone was great. If we had an issue or concern it was addressed and they took care of it.

First time I dealt with Steve was to build a fence and because that was such a smooth and fast process, I decided to contact F&D Connection again to have a deck built for my townhouse.
