First, I want you to know that your company was the second fence company I called, after I asked for an estimate from another company. The first fence company I called, was very inattentive in returning calls and scheduling an appointment. I could not wait any longer, so I called Fence and Deck Connection. I was very pleased with scheduling, followed by your house visit, in which you gave me detailed information about the various types of fencing and the pros and cons of each. In the end, I ended up buying more, because I felt my choice would save money years down the road.
I could not be more pleased with the quality and look with my new fence, which I am sure has added more value to my home. The workmanship is outstanding, as was the follow-up service. Cheryl Taylorson followed up with an e-mail informing me that a quality control specialist would inspect the completed fence. Cheryl also did a great job in answering any questions I had, and getting back to me expeditiously. Finally, I want to thank Bob Hairsine for his wonderful work in inspecting my fence. I contacted Cheryl, and told her that a neighbor had pointed out that one of our horizontal boards had a crack. Brian Hannon was our sales coordinator and did a magnificent job of presenting options for our situation. Working around our summer vacation plans, we gave them a 2 day window to complete, which they worked around and were there, with no issues. It took the installation team a full day to complete. They came in, installed and left no evidence that they were even there and WOW how amazing it is. 0│+ We decided on 4+ foot white vinyl in the front and on the side. Superior workmanship! Brian Hannon took my plans and followed them to the “T” but then went the extra mile to add custom features like a privacy wall and a diagonal design. It was a good experience meeting with you when you arrived for our appointment for a fence installation quote. You were on time, calling to reinforce the appointment time and letting me know that you would arrive as scheduled; a very good start. You are very knowledgeable about your company and craft, and a personable individual with which to carry on a conversation, easy to understand and informative of the customer's needs. You easily conveyed what I wanted into your sketch of the project. That might not seem like much, but some others that I had for quotes did not hear or see what I was proposing, so your understanding was valued. Added to that, I was most impressed that you took the time while you were here to redraw the sketch into a formalized view, along with a quote that was figured and presented right away. None of the other quotes did so the day of the visit, and one has yet to present a written quote to me, even after numerous prompts by email and voice-mail messages. Very professional, I was most impressed.
If your competence was not a strong enough reason to lean towards your company, having your sales manager contact me to check on my satisfaction with your visit surely would have been the push if F&DC was tied with another competitor. It was not though. I recognized the quality and concern that your company presented, and was most happy to find that your quote itself was the lesser of others that I did not get the same "warm and fuzzy" feelings about. This was further exemplified by the contacts from your Fencing Project Manager, Bob Hannon, and his "introduction" to other I would possibly interact with on this project.
The installation actually began earlier than the two-to-three weeks projected, the crew did a great job, and the fence is gorgeous. It is everything that I envisioned. I was further impressed that your company had project inspector visit to check on the installation, and to inquire of any issues that I might have discovered... there were none! I would also like to say thank you for the "Thank You" card, as the little things add up. You folks are terrific at making the customer feel that they are more than a revenue source, and I await your return to check on the project yourself, once you can swing by and see what a fantastic job was accomplished by your valued crew.

We had our deck replaced and a new fence installed around our property from Fence & Deck Connection, and we couldn't be happier with the results or the process. The sales consultant (Andrew) met us at our home and took the time to listen to what our end goals were from the two projects. He then took the time to measure everything out and go over all the options for each project individually.
There was no pressure to select more expensive materials and he really made sure that we'd be happy with the look and feel of each component. There were absolutely times where more expensive options could have been recommended and we probably wouldn't have realized, but the real goal was to make sure we were 100% satisfied.
The installation process for both projects went very smoothly. The workers were professional, punctual, and worked very efficiently. They made sure to minimize any inconveniences to us - there were certainly times where we could have forgotten they were even there. About a week after each installation, they sent out a representative to inspect the work and make sure we were happy with the product. For the few small problems that we found, they were very responsive to correct them immediately. At each step, people went above and beyond our expectations to give us a fantastic deck and fence.

The deck building process was very quick and smooth. The estimator showed up exactly on time and was very knowledgable, extremely professional, accommodated our requests, and provided a proposal very quickly (1st draft was done on his iPad before he even left...others were on "back of the envelope" estimates). After getting other estimates, Fence and Deck Connection was the only company able to accommodate our request for our deck (2nd floor townhouse deck with minimal posts so we would have an open backyard). They also amazingly wound up to be the most affordable. They are very technologically savvy, and clearly have invested a lot into the company to accommodate customers needs. We received the plans/drawings very quickly following choosing the company and they were perfectly drawn/organized. The permit process went very smoothly with them and the project was started before we even imagined. The project manager was always in contact with me via e-mail - I don't think I ever had to wait 20 min for a response to any questions, and he always kept me notified of the progress. Same with building process and completion - they tore down our old deck and built the new one within 3 days. The technology that they use to build the decks is top-of-the-line - no other companies we got estimates from were using anything close to their quality (and again, they were the most affordable). I just received the final approval from the county inspector and he also was HIGHLY impressed with the deck - from someone that must have seen many thousands of decks, this shows how good this company is. Finally, I was also extremely impressed by their clean-up process after completion - backyard was completely cleaned up and you could not even tell they were there.
Bottom line - CHOOSE THIS COMPANY FOR YOUR DECK!!!!

The install was completed on Saturday and it looks great! The installers did a great job cleaning up as well. Final approval from the county yesterday. They left a note to stabilize the soil at the first step, but I'd assumed that's for me. Anyhow, great job. Thanks so much. I hadn't expected to have the deck before Memorial day. I'm very impressed.

You exceeded our expectations throughout the design/ planning process of our fence project. You made recommendations to our unique design we would not have considered otherwise. We initially wanted to use cedar pickets, but you explained that due to the location of the fence near vegetation / trees, pressure treated pickets were the better choice - I believe this recommendation is based on your experience / expertise to truly provide us with a more suitable material rather then a push for a more expensive product motivated by a higher sales price - Thank you Kevin.
The Installation Team arrived on time and conducted themselves in a professional manner lead by the job supervisor Brian, who communicated with me in a courteous and professional manner. I was impressed with how quickly they were able to install the fence, 136 feet in about 4 hours! Once complete, the team cleaned up and disappeared; it's like they were never there. Brian conducted a final walk-through with me and answered all my questions - Thank you Brian.
Overall, I would highly recommend Fence and Deck Connection to anyone looking for a solid fence, installed by a courteous and professional team.

I enjoyed working with you on the best options for our yard, you were very knowledgeable and explained each option to me. You also had patience with me and my dog who was always around us during our discussions.
The install crew did a great job. They had some obstacles with the property but worked thru them and kept me in the loop during resolution. They were pleasant and very easy to deal with. The cleaned everything up and left the property in good shape.

We had a 5' vinyl fence with two gates installed by Fence and Deck Connection. Our experience was positive from the moment we entered their showroom and met with Brian Hannon to the completion of the project. Brian knew exactly what we were describing, showed us samples and helped make our selection easy. The fence was ready for installation exactly at the time they projected. We delayed the installation because of other landscaping/hardscaping work being done by another contractor, but their project manager (Bob) called me every week to check in on our expectation for installation. The installation crew was great. They made field adjustments to give us the exact look we were going for. And finally, about two weeks after completion, one of their employees came by to check that everything was ok and we were completely satisfied. A lot of companies talk about their customer focus, but Fence and Deck Connection makes it happen!

I am very impressed with the level of service I received from Fence and Deck Connection. When I submitted my initial inquiry online, I received a call back from a customer service representative in less than 2 minutes. That same day I received a call from Brian the design representative who came out in 24 hours to look at my backyard and make recommendations based on what I had requested (a secure fence with a gate to keep my puppy safe). The price was also very competitive. He informed me that I would hear from a project manager within 3 weeks and that construction would begin shortly after that. Everything happened as I was told.
