We were very pleased with the work Fence and Deck Connection did on our deck. We were looking to replace the top decking portion of our deck as the composite material used 26 years ago was showing signs of wear/tear. We received several estimates and learned that if we wanted the work to have a we had to replace the entire deck. We decided to use Fence and Deck Connection as the company installed our back yard fence some years back and we were familiar with the company’s work and is processes/procedures. We felt comfortable working with the staff and liked the materials the company offered. The estimate, detailed plans, materials and work done to make the final project complete were just what we were expecting. My experience with Fence & Deck Connection was a great one. Salesmen and/or Project Managers kept in touch with me while their crew members/contractors built and completed both the fence and deck. I considered that "very good customer service." If or when there times when I questions that I need answers to, everyone was just a phone call away. I appreciated that prompt response. I wish that my yard was a little more level. But that's not your company's responsibility. I just want to say that my family is very happy with the chain link gates. Eddie Serrano was great when he came down to see what we wanted. He listened to us. Then he gave us his ideas which were great. He kept in contact with us. When I emailed him with questions he got right back to me. I like that type of service. The way he handle everything and treated us made my decision easy to go with your company. Cheryl Taylorson was great and very helpful when setting up our appointment. When I emailed her to ask a question about payment she responded right back . Bill Wolfe came out to see what his crew was going to do. He was great. Very easy to talk too. He got everything lined up. When the crew arrived to do the job they were very friendly and pleasant. They did a wonderful job and cleaned up everything as they were working. We were very pleased with everything. William came by for the final look to make sure we was happy with the work and to make sure everything was done as planned. He was very friendly and pleasant. This is our second fence with the company, my mom had her deck done with F&D, and a coworker (Ron K.) recently had his fence done with the company after our recommendation. Overall, the entire process has been the easiest experience we have had with any contractor. I recently contracted with Fence & Deck Connection when we needed a fence to enclose our back yard! At first I solicited quotes from multiple companies! Fence & Deck responded immediately and set up a meeting at MY convenience! The other companies didn’t respond for several days and then wanted to schedule a meeting weeks out at THEIR convenience! From our first meeting with Tracy from F & D I immediately knew that they were the company I would do business with! They did what they said they would do, a beautifully done fence, with a reasonable price, with multiple after completion visits for quality checkups! Every person from F & D was just a pleasure to deal with, What A Team! In today’s environment you just don’t see this kind of customer service and that doesn’t even mention their guarantee to come out to fix, adjust any issues that I certainly don’t anticipate based on their wonderful installation! I wanted to send a note on the service I received from your team. I worked with Jimmy on a new deck on my townhome I purchased. Honestly, I was already a bit frustrated with the builder as they could not get the deck worked into the purchase despite my well in advance request. The builder ran into permit issues. I was given Jimmy's contact information and contacted him months prior to my closing on the new build. He was always pleasant and transparent with the county permit issues you all face. He continued to follow up with me periodically as closing approached. He was patient as my closing was delayed due to a supply chain barrier as many have been delayed during this time frame of building. Once I did finally close, Jimmy came out quickly to meet and discuss the plans. As many of us do, I work tons of hours so it was good to have you all stay connected to me and work in a slot that fit my busy schedule. Jimmy was thorough with explaining the material options, permits needed, installation time frame and financing. Travis and his team took over from there, once the agreement and dates were confirmed. Travis was just a professional and prompt. He further confirmed the installation date, process and timing. The installation was fast, as in one day. The result was perfect. Travis came back to inspect after completion and sent his team back to power wash as he saw some areas that needed more attention. Travis and Jimmy gave me the assurance I needed to trust your company with my deck. I was not only transitioning into a new home but a new job as well. I had an investment home in NC that I was having to monitor and manage too. I was somewhat at capacity and was not able manage all my tasks at hand effectively. The fact that Jimmy and Travis were so professional and detailed allowed me not to worry about the task of my desk installation. For this reason I strongly recommend Jimmy and Travis and Fence and Deck! As I look to purchase more real estate in the future, I will save you guys for my fence and deck needs. My first contact with Fence & Deck was with Christopher (Chris) Holmes. This representative is what's missing from customer service today. First and foremost, he was early for our appointment!!! (This is unheard of nowadays). In my world, early is on time and if you're on time you're late. It's nice to see that there still are people and companies in this world that value your time and I greatly appreciate this thank you. He walked me through every aspect of the job, gave me every scenario (for best pricing) and even guided me through securing the permit with the county. Chris went above and beyond, not out to make money but to ensure satisfaction. Then I met with Bill Wolfe for a final walk through to cross the "T's" & dot the "I's". Nice representative with a personality and was also early!!! While doing the final walk thru, I had a great conversation with him. Cheryl was able to get the installation scheduled about a week after the final walk thru. The team showed up (need I say again, early...) these guys. They were very efficient and precise. They knocked my project out in a few hours literally before lunch time. William Lighthouse stepped in with a small issue I had during my personal inspection and he resolved it the following day. I got estimates from 6 other companies before Fence & Deck Connection. The whole experience with the entire team was top notch for me. I will be using them again for my decking project. You should consider them as well.

I was very impressed in the process Fence and Deck Connection has developed in each phase of the project Sale Jeff was a pleasure to work with timely providing the price, contract and timeline, which was all met. Then Steve came out and walked the property locating power lines into my house looked over the fence to be removed and asked if I had concerns, I told him about my underground PVC pipe for the rain spout. He asked if I could supply electric and water for the project and he did a nice upfront visit. The installer came and worked well together and completed the project timely. The after-quality control was great noting a fence picket was cracked and it was repaired timely! I was an Executive in the US Postal Service; VP Area Operations I saw total Quality Management at its best! I would use Fence and Deck Connection again and I would provide positive feedback if asked by anyone.

We have been working w/ F&D at both our home properties since 2003/4. The quality of the folks from F&D along with the quality of workmanship is always professional. This point was made when I noticed one section of a new fence install seemed a little "out of square". I gave a call to customer service. Fence and Deck built a deck on my new home in the summer of 2022. Recommendations were made along the way that made the experience enjoyable. I am an engineer by trade, so I really enjoyed seeing actual CAD drawings of the deck with specifications and dimensions. I was happy with the composite materials instead of using pressure treated lumber for maintenance purposes. I also appreciated the fact that Fence and Deck was accommodating in my many changes along the way. I wanted a bump out for my barbeque grills and Fence and Deck was able to accommodate that. I plan to build a patio underneath the deck and there was a suggestion to design a deck drain system so that underneath the deck would stay dry. I even requested decorative vinyl wrapping of exposed wood and they were able to accommodate that. If there was ever an issue, Fence and Deck was able to go back and provide a solution. The crew that actually built the deck was great. They were thorough and accurate, and worked late to build the deck in about a week. I would highly recommend Fence and Deck Connection to friends and family as a go to builder of decks.

I felt better about starting this project because I knew you wouldn't steer me wrong! I was very reluctant to start this project because I was afraid I would be taken advantage of but not so with your company. From the start, I felt comfortable. You, Steve and John were professional and let me know what was going to happen and when. The crews for both projects, fence and deck, were professional. They worked hard and left the premises clean as a whistle when they left. I love the appearance of the fence and gates although I must admit, getting used to the gates has been a learning experience. Maggie does not like waiting at the top of the steps to go down because I let go of the gate, once, too soon and it hit her in the rump. She yelped and gave me the dirtiest look ever! My experience with Fence and Deck Connection was great. Everything that was going to be done was explained in detail. The work of putting our fence in was done in one day. No mess just a beautiful fence. I went around the fence and didn't find anything wrong. Even our neighbors complemented us on how nice it looked and even made a difference in the appearance of the house. I did receive an e mail about two weeks later telling me someone would be out to do a walk around to be sure everything was done well. Then I received an e mail that two of the post had flaws and were going to be replaced. I never noticed anything wrong with any of the posts, but they did, and they were replaced. John Kilchenstein and his crew (Carmen and 3 other guys who unfortunately didn't get their names) did an outstanding job from the beginning of the project to then end. The crew worked so hard and were such professionals in all aspects. We had a few angles on the deck that I know must have been difficult to cut but, it was all done with perfection. I would like to take this opportunity to say thank you to all the people I met from Fence & Deck Connection. My yard suffered a disaster on July 12th when a large tree fell from school grounds behind my property slicing through six sections of my vinyl fence and leaving a mess. I went to Fence & Deck Connection and found they carried my Mocha Walnut fencing. I was immediately put in touch with an estimator who promptly came out to see the damage and told me what needed to be done. I received a contract the next day and signed it. Very quickly a crew foreman came out and told me that he would send Miss Utility to do any needed markings. The next day Miss Utility showed up. The next day I received a call that the installation of new fencing could take place the following week. The crew showed up promptly on the date promised and had the new fencing installed in a few hours and cleaned up all the old debris both inside my yard and what was outside where the old fencing had been scattered. Everyone I met or talked with was very helpful and I was pleasantly surprised that in such a short time my yard looked like nothing had ever happened. Working with Fence and Deck Connection, specifically Joel Lewis, on the design of our deck has been nothing short of superb! During the design process Joel had valuable insights and suggestions to offer that resulted in a vastly better design than what we would have envisioned on our own. Not to mention the immense amount of patience he provided while making adjustments to the draft design at our request and answering a myriad of detailed questions. With his assistance, we ended up with a deck that turned out beautifully and we will enjoy for years to come! The project manager, John Kilchenstein, and the rest of the construction team were also fantastic to work with. They stayed on top of my project until every last detail was completed to my satisfaction. They even went above and beyond by making some adjustments during construction (with my approval) that improved the overall look of the completed deck. Fence & Deck Connection installed a wood fence for us in July. We had a very positive experience with the company. Beginning with the first meeting with our salesman and ending with the installation of our fence on 7/1/22. Every member of the Fence and Deck Connection team was very professional. From the sales consultant, Tom Simpson and project manager Francisco Chacon to the installation crew. They communicated with us throughout the entire process. They took the time to explain what would be done and answered our questions. They were able to schedule an installation date and install the fence very quickly as they had a crew of 3 men working. I was impressed at how well they cleaned up the scrap wood debris and dirt in my yard afterward. They also explained how we should care for our new fence. I can't say enough good things about working with Steve, Mike and the crew from Fence and Deck Connection. I always had an update when requested. They had double and triple checked that the fence we wanted was placed in the rights areas and that the design we chose was verified and ready to be installed. I was pleased to see they offered a nice military discount which made me feel taken care of. When the crew came for install they were quick. I couldn't believe they did all that work in 4 hours. We were amazed. They all worked like a well-oiled machine together. We're very happy with our fence it looks great! I love our new fence. The crew were extraordinary. They arrived around 8am and worked continually until almost 9pm to complete the project. Clean up was thorough after removing a 37 year old wood fence/posts and then replacing with a beautiful vinyl fence. Both the fence and deck crews were professional and courteous during the construction process. The fence was installed in less than a day and the crew placed the fence exactly where I wanted it to be. It looks great and has made a huge difference in the appearance of our backyard. The deck resurface looks fantastic and the upgrade to Trex decking was a smart investment. The Trex decking will be sure to last for several years. Every step of the construction process was seamless, from the plans submitted before construction began to the final product and clean up. The process took 3 days and at the end of each day the crew took the time to clean up. When they finished, there was nothing left, but the new deck. We are very pleased to have chosen Fence and Deck Connection for this project and would highly recommend anyone looking to install a new fence, upgrade their deck or construct a new deck to use them as well.

I hired fence and deck connection to redo our deck: They added support to bring it up to modern code, replaced the old wood with Trex and also replaced all of the railings. The deck is incredibly sturdy and the railings don’t budge a millimeter. From start to finish, the company was excellent to work with. Ultra professional with a high attention to detail. I am very grateful I chose to go with them. The truck had left some ruts in the grass and one of the managers came by to reseed and fix the problem. They really went above and beyond from start to finish. Highly recommend!

This is the second project I had with FDC. I reached out to them because I was very happy with their performance on the first job. This project went just as well. My overall experience working with you and Fence and Deck Connection was very positive. Your explanations were clear and thorough and your second visit to go over details was very helpful for me in making my decision. The fact that Fence and Deck had "real cedar" available was the final factor in making my decision. I also appreciated the fact that Fence and Deck handled all of the permitting issues. The crew that worked on the installation certainly seemed to know what they were doing and worked well together. Several days after completion of the job the supervisor came out to check on it and there were a few boards with splits that bothered me. Within a few days someone was here to replace them. I am looking forward to some consistent spring weather so that I can start getting the deck area ready for hanging plants, filling the planters and putting up some decorative pieces on the fence - and then sitting out there and enjoying the new look.

I had contacted Fence and Deck Connection for an estimate to replace the split rail fence at the front of my property after a car had destroyed most of the one I had. This was a small job in comparison to what The Fence and Deck Connection would normally do. The appointment was setup with my schedule in mind and Tracy arrived on time, we discussed what needed to be accomplished, any special needs and the timeframe. After an agreement was made the project manager contacted me to go over the project and a estimated start date was agreed on. Prior to the start date I was contacted with a time of their arrival. The project manager and crew showed up early and after going over the tasks again the crew started to work. The whole project was completed professionally in a timely manner and debris cleaned up and removed. I was very happy with the entire Fence and Deck Connection staff and their communications from sales to administration staff and the installation crew.
